It was delivered within a very short time frame. The ring has an all black appearance As shown in the picture, there is no checkered pattern. Life counters are a little stiff to turn at first, but I believe the mechanical characteristics of the counters will improve over time. If you know someone who loves Magic The Gathering, you can give them this gift.
