Questions & Answers

Do you know if it has been extended?

there are no expansions for Salem 1692. The company has created two other games (Tortuga and Deadwood) but not for Salem 1692.

The English skills of players need to be as good as possible? I believe that English has been the second language of most of my family members. Is it going to be too difficult for them to understand the cards?

It was not uncommon for me to play with children as young as nine or ten years old. The ability to use some cards and characters may be a problem for them. To begin with, it would be a good idea to explain what some cards do before the first game and play a few practice games so they are familiar with what they will be doing. The game is simple, and everyone will catch on quickly.

This game has changed from its version 2 what is new and different?

Minor changes have been made to the design, but all other aspects of the game remain unchanged.

It is darker on the back of a witch card than a non-witch card These cards are magic
3/5

Played this game with my group for quite a while until someone noticed that the red of the cards was slightly darker than that of the cards without These cards are magic. I contacted the manufacturer, who informed me this was a known printing error. We are now able to distinguish the correct card 99% of the time as a result. After requesting a replacement, they sent me a deck that was non-white, but still has dark After that, I received a new replacement deck as well, and have experienced the same problem. The two blank cards finally became "witch" after I gave up and hand wrote them.

This game is so addicting
5/5

Upon entering this game for the first time, it took me 1, 2, ok maybe 5 times to fully understand what everything meant (it's hard to explain new things to 20-somethings intoxicated with alcohol), but once you're in it, it's unstoppable. Playing this game brings out the personality of everyone and is a great way to have fun. I have recommended the application to over 50 people so far, and there has never been any negative feedback. The majority of people who have played with us have asked when we will play again!

Even though the rules are intricate, the game is masterfully designed. As a result, we love seeing a modest, trustworthy person go from nice to cunning, lying to manipulating, and than we love seeing them do The purpose of this game is to see how far you can fib to your friends. Despite the fact that skill games scare some people, you don't necessarily have to be the best on the field to fully appreciate them. It depends on your group size sometimes on how long the game takes, but overall it can last anywhere from five minutes up to an hour and a half no matter how many players you have. ) (Also depends on the level of concentration of I recommend it to anyone looking for a game that will unite their friends, one that they will want to play again and again, almost turning it into a tradition. The 11/10/2018.

Deduction of the social status of werewolves– This is like Game but with a twist
5/5

It might seem like the rules (like all rules) are a little confusing at first, but when I played this game with my friends we read the instructions as we went along, and it was really fun. The group of players I play with really enjoy social deduction games in which one player is on the "secret team. " There is, however, just one issue with those games Everyone wants to eventually be that special role. It turns out that in this game if you are a Witch character (a special role), there is a mechanic that allows you to transform other players into Witches and enlist them as your allies. As the Witch, you can attempt to use this 'recruiting' mechanic - this way you will probably find something that works. It also cultivates a sense of paranoia (the fun kind) in all the players who are aware of this mechanic. I played this with my friends maybe six times in a row and as we became more familiar with the mechanics and how to make the most of them, it got better and better. It should be noted that this is only with four players, which is nowhere near enough to run an actual 'traditional' werewolf game (7 players or more is best). It was my last game which I lost. In order to be able to play, the remaining players must It was very exciting to find out that I was the last holdout in an entire 'town' that had converted to witchcraft.

I'd totally recommend getting it because it's simple and easy to learn at the same time. My plan is to take this on a camping trip later in the year and see how well it scales up to accommodate It feels like high-quality pieces are used, and the ancient text 'book' that holds the materials is marvelous. I really like what you did.

A fun, easy-to-play game that will impress friends with and without a gaming background
5/5

Deception is my most favorite game of all time, the game play is easy to learn, but the level of challenge makes the game more challenging than others. With one or more players, witches can move around easily and the game is playable with any range of players, within their recommended range. would like to play even more than the recommended game size, just get two sets and you'll be good to go since the game is pretty flexible. It is the perfect game for those who enjoy games of deception.

One of the best iterations of "Mafia"
5/5

A game mechanic similar to those found in Mafia, One Night a Werewolf, and This game mechanic is based on yet another barbaric event in American history, the Witch Hunts of Salem, MA. It comes in an attractive box (book) that is themed for this barbaric period in the history of Salem, MA. It will upset all wiccans but if you can get past that, it is great for larger gatherings where you would like to have everyone involved at the same time (up to nine at a time).

The game is great for social interaction
5/5

Whenever you're with a group of people, you'll always have a good time playing this portable group game. Because this game can be played in a large or small group, as well as with a relatively short playtime, it is perfect for social gatherings - it also allows for easy interaction between players. Besides being a game of strategy, it is also a game of interpersonal relationships. Playing this game with friends made me want to buy I was fortunate enough to have an experienced player teach me the game, so it was easy to pick up. It should be sufficient to run the game one time to get the general flow of the game While the faux book packaging is attractive and clever, I'm unsure about how it will hold up over time, since the corners are printed as if they were real pages.

I had a blast! No need to worry even if there are many people! There aren't any games that 11 people can play together that our kids love, but we have struggled to find any that are fun for them
4/5

This was found on the Internet and I bought it for Christmas in hopes everyone would be home and play it. From the 12 year old to the 26 year old, everyone enjoyed the game play and I was glad we could play a game together while everyone had fun. It was a little difficult to follow the rules at first but we all got it after a few rounds and it was easier and easier. There were 11 of us on the line, but we each had our turn every few minutes because it moved so quickly.

This is a fun party game or group activity
5/5

The kids I'm raising play board games almost every night, along with their friends. There's a reason this is at the top of their favorites list! It's also really fun to watch!.
