" Our daughter struggled to get up on a regular pair of roller skates at first, but once we put her in these, she was able to quickly gain the skills and confidence she needed to race around with ease. In comparison to traditional roller skates, these skates offer three advantages for learning to skate: The brake is in the back, not the front, which is important for kids because, if you watch kids learn to skate, you'll notice that they almost always fall backwards, not forwards, as the skates fly out from under them. If the child begins to fall backwards, the brake in the back not only catches them, but also stops them. As a result of their momentum, they will almost certainly catch themselves and not fall. Because the skates have such a low center of balance, children are less likely to fall. The skates are adjustable in size, so they will grow with your child as they learn to skate.
These are actually quite good. They do a great job and are very durable. The only thing I don't like about them is that the rear wheels are really wide; I didn't realize when I bought them that they sit on the outside of the skate rather than under it, so they hit against each other when they skate. Why do they do this is beyond me. Perhaps a sense of security?.
Sizes 11 through 2 were labeled on these. I bought these for my daughter (who wears a size 11 shoe), but she couldn't get her feet into them even when they were set to the largest size; they were extremely tight and painful for her! She could only get one foot into each; the other would not fit. If your child has the feet of a Barbie doll, they'll probably be fine; if your child has the feet of a human, you might want to think about something else. It's too bad there isn't a larger version. This Christmas item had to be returned.
These and the adjustable ones that slip on over your shoes were on my mind. I'm so happy I chose these. They're in excellent condition. The large wheels in the back help with balance and stability, and they're handcrafted, REAL skates. My daughter loves these skates because they are easy to adjust in size (with a built-in key on the back). She's improved a lot on the ice! My only (minor) gripe is that the inner foam boot is permanently attached to the skate and cannot be removed. These skates are fantastic for beginners and small children!.
These Quad Roller Skates were purchased for my four-year-old son. I bought a size 7 for her because she wears a size 9. While browsing through multiple Quad Roller Skates, I noticed a brake right in front that made pulling up easier, but these Skates do not have a front brake, so keep that in mind before purchasing. A couple of other adjustable livers are added on top of that for the perfect fit. br>Despite the fact that the inside is covered with a soft, thick layer of clothing, I believe that wearing socks is necessary to prevent sweating. br>The most important feature is the adjustable Liver, which allows you to adjust the size to your liking.
These are a big hit with our 6-year-old daughter. She went to her school's skate night and rented skates on the first night. She was jittery and didn't have a good time. Later, when her school began practicing in PE class, she gained more confidence, so we purchased these for her to use at home. The colors and style were a perfect match for her personality, and she could now practice in the privacy of her own home. br>br>Another skate night was held at her school, and she brought her own skates. She initially avoided the rink, but after a friend persuaded her to go, she gave it a try and fell in love. br>br>She kept going and going until she could skate around the rink on her own. Although she is still shaky, these skates are performing admirably. They provide her with greater stability than regular skates and are ideal for beginners. They have a sophisticated appearance, are simple to put on, and are unmistakably feminine. It also helped that two of the girls were wearing the same skates. br>br>She was on the verge of passing out when she saw her friends wearing the same skates. It gave her a lot more self-assurance.
These skates have so far disappointed me greatly. Our first order was for a size 7 pair. My little girl is a size ten. We couldn't get her feet into these because they were so small, so I increased the size. Despite this, she claimed they were too tight, with her big toe only a half-centimeter away from the front plastic. We went up a size, to an 11-inch shoe. To get them to only kind-of-kind-of-kind-of-kind-of-kind-of-kind-of-kind-of-kind-of-kind-of- a good fit for her Her feet are ordinary. They're not particularly thick, but neither are they particularly thin. I understand that roller skates must be a little tight for safety reasons, but these are cut-offs. off- Circulation is restricted in the area of the feet. Instead of just for length, this company should consider a loosening feature for width and height (our issue is with the height of the foot area). br>I was also under the impression that the large wheels in the back would aid in balance, but don't be fooled. She's extremely erratic. I wish I'd bought her roller blades sooner. We're going to try out this second pair for a few days to see if breaking them in helps, as she spent her own money on them, which makes it all the more heartbreaking that they're not perfect. I'm not sure why there are so many positive reviews.
