Your feet will despise the following items if you are over the age of eight: Gorgeous! These skates make me very sad. They are absolutely beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. They're extremely fashionable, and I adore the retro labels. The entire retro look appeals to me. They're also incredibly smooth, giving the impression of gliding. They're similar to riding a long board, only they're attached to your feet. I haven't skated since I was a kid, and I'm not particularly good at it, but I'd like to get back into it. I was initially smitten by the Crazy Skates Evoke, but they are prohibitively expensive for a beginner like me. I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to put them to good use. I just wanted to have a good time, and paying nearly $300 for them was not a wise decision for me. So when I came across the retro style, I was even more enamored, and the price range suited me perfectly. Everything would have been ideal if they had been able to fit me! I am a number eight. 5 are just a smidgeon too small for me, crushing my toes. They could be a few centimeters bigger, in my opinion. I believe you will be fine if you are a size 8 in women's, but that is the upper limit. I'm hoping for larger sizes or a significant reduction in the evoke's price. I'm so sorry, but I'll have to send these back. I'm afraid that if I deal with how small my feet are, I'll end up damaging them in the long run.

AFTER 5 MONTHS, MY TONGUE HAS BEEN TORNED! UPDATE: After about 5 months of skating in these, I went to adjust the tongue after putting on the skates, and it RIPPED IN TWO PIECES! I'm very careful with my skates and try to keep them in good condition. I have at least five pairs of skates and have never had this happen to me before. I contacted the company to see if they were willing to replace or repair the item. When I get a response, I'll update my review. These skates were very comfortable and responsive, but they did not last very long. I'm hoping Crazy Skates will put things right. br>br>I've had this skate for a few months now and it's still going strong. I skate for approximately 12 minutes. I've been skating for 15 hours a week and haven't changed my skate at all. As is, I find it extremely comfortable. There was no need for a time out. The only thing I didn't like about the skate was how heavy it was at first, but I got used to it quickly. The wheels are ideal for outdoor skating but, in my opinion, are a little too sticky for indoor use. This is a good starter skate for people with wider feet, in my opinion. I'm a woman's size 7 tennis shoe, and I agree with the other reviewer that a woman's size 8 is most likely the cutoff size for this skate.

I liked these skates at first because they fit wide feet, but they were a little too wide inside and I felt like my foot was swimming inside; after a few hours of use, my toes would cramp because I felt like my toes were trying to grab the bottom of it to gain more control to turn. The base of the wheels was a little wide for my taste, making it difficult to control, but that didn't bother my daughter, who is a more experienced skater. The lip of one of the boots ripped off after less than two months of use when my daughter was putting it on. I would have given these a higher rating if that hadn't happened.

These skates were purchased for our 8-year-old granddaughter who lives on the other side of the world. She adored them, and on Christmas Day, she was skating down the halls of her building. Her mother raved about how well-made they were and how well they fit our granddaughter. We were also impressed by the speed with which they arrived, as we frequently experience significant delays in overseas shipping for Christmas gifts.

The sizing is excellent, the bearings are smooth, and the trucks are tightly packed. It's something you'd want to pass down through the generations. My only gripe is that there is no indication of where they were made on the product. If I made a good product like this, I'd tell everyone about it.
