She began with a cheap roller derby brand skate that cost around $25 (so cheap that she wore out the first pair in less than six weeks). We eventually purchased a second pair of cheap skates, which also did not last. She also quickly moved on from that skate, which didn't have the same mechanics as a roller skate and was causing her to fall more. My daughter was unable to turn, and the wheels were in poor condition. After my daughter began skating lessons, the instructor informed us that the skate she was using was a toy skate with no actual trucks or cushions. She instructed us on what to look for, and we discovered these fantastic glitter pop skates. br>br>We didn't want to spend a lot of money because she was growing so quickly (we wasted money on two crappy pairs), but we liked that they were adjustable and affordable. My daughter was looking for something cute, and these were exactly what she was looking for. Although the boot is made of plastic, it is extremely durable. They are used both inside and out. They've been used several times per week for the past six months and are still going strong. When a child falls outside, the boot will get scraped up, which is to be expected because children fall and the boots will not stay in perfect condition. It has sturdy wheels that can be used outside. When we switched from the toy pair to these, we noticed a significant improvement in her skating ability. They are both fashionable and capable skaters.
While the skates are fantastic, the wheels are too fast for my 9-year-old. This isn't a skate for beginners or for learning to skate. Tried to slow the wheels down by tightening the wheels, but it didn't work.
They are a hit with my daughter! br>Most importantly, the fit was perfect; she is a YOUTH 4 size. The number five and the number three 6 skate was the ideal size for her. The swivel and lock adjustable sizing is something I really like. I was looking for skates for her that looked like my moxi skates, because she loves them, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a beginner skate. That's exactly what I did. This skate is ideal for beginners. The wheels are suitable for use both inside and outside. I did make some changes to the wheels and trucks to make it easier for him to roll and turn. Since then, she's been obsessed. The boot's only drawback is that it is entirely made of hard plastic. But, at this point, that isn't a big deal; at the very least, it is long-lasting. So, five out of five!.
The insole is only about 9 inches long, as you can see in the photo. On a max size 6, the insole fills the entire shoe from heel to toe when it is inside the shoe. This medium 3-size item is described as such in the description. The size 6 skate is designed to fit feet ranging in size from 9 to 12 inches. ten inches My daughter's foot, on the other hand, is nine inches in length. She should have plenty of space at the top with her height of 25 inches, but she doesn't. Her toe is at the very top of the shoe on a size large, with no wiggle room, and it is way too tight. I was dissatisfied with the seller's claim that this skate would fit up to 10 inches. I didn't like how the insoles were made cheaply and how the toe end of both of them was bent in a downward curling motion. I'll return them as soon as possible. If your child's foot is longer than 9 inches from heel to toe, you should not order.
My 9-year-old daughter received these skates as a gift. They are incredibly simple to adjust in size, as well as sturdy and stable. Despite her lack of skating experience, she was able to pick it up quickly. She adores the color and has figured out how to get the breaks to work. This purchase has made us very happy.
My niece loves purple, so these were ideal; she is a beginner, but she has already improved her speed. We like that the size is adjustable, allowing her to wear them for a long time.
My 5-year-old has been wanting her own skates for a long time, and she loved the sparkle in these purple ones, which she had progressed past the training skates. For me. I like that they're adjustable and that she'll be able to wear them for a long time; they're comfortable to wear and appear to be well-made around her ankles. The sizing appears to be a little large, but I find that most roller skates are the same way. They were, in general, exactly what I needed.
The quality of the skate is excellent, but I am a size 6 in skates and can comfortably fit into these even at their smallest setting, which is a size 3; I'm still able to get my feet into them. They aren't as adaptable as the description suggests. I'm not entirely satisfied, but they're also not a bad skate. I'm not going to go through the hassle of returning them because she's a size 2 and I'll be purchasing new ones in about two months. So I'm going to keep them and wait for her to outgrow them.
