Questions & Answers
Define the phrase "good for a marathon." If you're asking if they're comfortable enough to skate on, the answer is yes. Yes, there are two miles. Despite my age, I was able to skate for 15 minutes. 20 miles per day, at an average speed of 12 miles per hour and peak speeds of 23 miles per hour. When they're brand new, the big wheels are quick. Because of the wheel diameter, these are easily the fastest skates I've ever owned, and the bearings are also quite good. The lacing system, which uses a thin thread that is ratcheted tighter by a knob, appears fragile at first, but it has held up well so far and is far superior to previous designs. If you plan on skating long distances, make sure your skates are the right size. Otherwise, you'll end up with blisters. Heavy socks can be worn if they are a little too big. You'll have to exchange them if they're too small.
Yes, I switched it from one skate to the other because I brake with my other foot forward most of the time; however, you can go without a brake on either foot if you prefer.
No, you're not going to be able to do that.
I usually wear a size 10 in men's clothing in the United States, so I ordered a size 10. I was able to wear it in a size that was accurate to my measurements.

My hubby finally caved in and bought a pair of the female version (Alexis). They're a little wider in the foot, so they fit and feel good. If you want a skate that won't crimp your foot like a bad pair of ski boots, look no further. You will receive these. In addition, the wheels glide smoothly. With a quick twist on the laces and a buckle, the ankles are perfectly fitted.
I have a weak ankle, so I need a boot that will keep everything in place. The lacing system and velcro aren't my favorites. To strengthen the laces, I'll add paracord. The ratcheting mechanism above the ankle, which is nice and snug, is my preference. Over the ankle and toes, I wish they had used a similar mechanic. I'll have to make some changes for my own safety. Aside from that, they're really nice skates. br>br>Product No. 4 in a 5-part series.
Bad fit. This skate appears to be well-built. The lacing system is the source of my dissatisfaction. I couldn't get the skate snug enough to keep my ankle secure without digging into my shin/calf. It was strange because that was the only problem I had with fit.
br>I skated 6 or 7 long skates, each ranging from 8 to 10 miles. I usually wear a US10 shoe, but ordered a US9 because they are very comfortable and roll smoothly and quickly. I was concerned that they would be too tight at first, but they quickly broke in to a perfect fit. A ten would have my feet swimming. I'm considering purchasing a second set for my Florida home!.
Skates are excellent. K2 is the most effective brand - They're of excellent quality, have a smooth ride, and never hurt my feet when I use them.
The package arrived in good condition, but the tool for removing and rotating the wheels was not included. I would have given five stars if it weren't for the fact that the skates are incredible. I've had them out at least 15 times and the wheels are still in good condition.
It is not adjustable in any way. It would have been better if the boot and frame could be adjusted. Alternatively, it could have been the ideal Skate. Pronation is a problem for me. I had to return them to the warehouse as a result of this. Bummer.
The right skate has a flaw that prevents the right foot from being kept in place.
