Is the sizing accurate?

Yes. I'm in the eighth grade. I ordered a size 9 and there is some room to spare. They are, however, not excessively big.

Will these fit wide feet or calves that are a little longer?

My calf muscles are thick. I bought these after seeing someone mention that they bought an extender on another product. I had every intention of doing so because I can't blame a company for my wide calves (approximately 17.5" at the top of the boot, where the buckle is). 5" or 42cm), but I haven't found anything that appears to help extend the top buckle.

I ordered a size 8 and it fit perfectly; my previous skates (from another brand) had plastic laces that broke apart, so I was glad to see the K2 lacing system was more durable. These skates are fantastic!.
