These blades aren't the same as the old K2 boot style blades! Your leg is not stabilized because the bindings do not go high enough on your leg. No matter how strong you are, they don't tighten all the way! My construction worker father tried to tighten them for me, but he couldn't get them tight enough to keep my ankles from moving! I decided to give it a shot anyway, and after two BLOCKS, I had blisters! I can't seem to get Amazon to let me post pictures for some reason. These are abhorrent to the point of insanity! Whoever designed these had no idea what they were doing and had most likely never rollerbladed before! I'd give it a 0 out of 5 star rating if I could!.
These don't go all the way up to the ankle. I'm a seasoned rollerblader, but these are the most excruciatingly painful rollerblades I've ever used. I used to have the K2 Alexis breast cancer edition, which was lighter. These are extremely heavy and have far too much padding to be able to close around the ankle, and because they do not support the ankle, they make you feel very unstable.
The back of the skate is extremely uncomfortable and stiff against my leg. They have a small size. These were too small for me, even though I am a size 9. The left skate blade was also out of alignment. center. I was so disappointed because they appeared to be cool, but I had to return them the next day.
I'm in love with my skates! They arrived quickly as well. Thank you very much:.
The fit is fantastic. Also of excellent quality.
I have 20-year-old K2s that are still superior to these new ones. This is the version you'd pick if you wanted to take it easy. They have a small size. The combination of lace up, Velcro, and binding does not work well. I was never at ease. I intend to return.
