It is great for my son who is 3 and the size of a five-year-old. It's easy to drive and maneuver — and it has a great engine. My favorite feature of the remote is that I don't have to run after him continuously, if he's getting too close to the road or going somewhere he shouldn't, I can stop him on the remote. I found the assembly to be very straightforward. I have not yet had to recharge the battery although he has driven it for a few hours.
