A single time. A 4 year old daughter of ours purchased this product in June of last year. Despite being purchased less than 90 days ago, the 12V Power cord failed to work. As a result of using the power cord from my son's ride-on motorcycle (not purchased from Best Choice Products), I was able to test the battery. I had some trouble getting the cord to fit the Jeep, but was able to charge it. Several months ago, I contacted "Darnel" at Best Choice customer service to inquire on a new power cord, even offered to purchase one. In response, he replied that if the period of service was still within 60 days, he would be happy to open up a new box and send the cord. As a result, they do not provide replacement parts for this item, so we do not offer a power plug, etc etc. All in all, I spent $259 on a toy that lasted under 90 days and is no longer functional. When replacement parts are needed, there is no way to obtain them, and Best Choice Products does not care about clients' needs. The company is just out to get your money and run. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHOP WITH THIS SELLER. . . DO NOT! Investing $259 in a children's toy which only works for 90 days seems counter-productive at best, and like a really bad deal. As soon as I am able to figure out how to upload the exchange between Best Choice and I to help future potential consumers steer clear of this item, I will do so.

It worked just fine in my case. My daughter is happy with The battery that comes with the device is just too small, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. If you draw high current just a few times, you'll see your voltage drop. Now here's the kicker I did some measuring and found that a 12 ah battery fits perfectly in the second bay. I like that it's not loose like the 7AH, but doesn't jiggle like one would expect since it's specifically designed The picture below shows what I mean. Consider adding a 12 ah battery and putting aside the included battery, and I think you will be happy with your purchase. You won't experience any bogs or sudden drops in voltage. Just to clarify for those who may be unclear, yes, the numbers displayed on the radio are the voltage needed. Do not dip below 10 for too long while you're using the device, and plug it If you want to charge the battery with the included charger, you can use the four amp energizer charger set it on the motorcycle setting and let it charge. Another reviewer advised purchasing the four amp energizer charger. You will be able to charge it much faster and maintain the battery much better.
