Quality control needs to improve its performance
3/5

The product arrived in good condition and was simple to put together. When my 7-year-old daughter rode it for the first time, the chain fell off and she didn't know what to do, so she wiped out and hit her face on the pavement. When I reattached the chain, I noticed it had a significant amount of slack. Much more than the instructions called for as a tolerable amount. Then something strange occurred to me. The chain would loosen and tighten repeatedly as I pushed on the pedal to spin the back tire. I double-checked the alignment and found nothing wrong, but when I looked at the pedal assembly, I noticed a LOT of slop in the pedal bearing. Inside the bearing, you can easily move the pedal assembly around. It appears as if the bearing has been used and washed out. The bearing fails to keep the pedal shaft centered in the frame, causing movement throughout the pedal assembly and causing the chain to loosen and tighten repeatedly as it spins. It has a chance of falling off if it loosens. That is exactly what took place. I'm devastated, and my daughter has a bruised face as a result. I know it's not a $200 bike, but for the sake of safety, some things should be held to a higher standard. Bearings are an important component of a bicycle that should not be overlooked. This should never have been allowed to pass through quality assurance.

It was a pleasant surprise
5/5

So, when you buy the cheapest bike on the market, you kind of expect things to be a little shoddy, and you don't expect to be wowed. You paid for a need to be met, and if it is, you will be satisfied. That's how I felt when I bought this bike; I accepted that I'd get a good enough bike and made peace with it. This bike, on the other hand, dazzles. The training wheels are very sturdy, and the tires, seat, and frame all appear to be of good quality. It's also very simple to assemble - It took me about an hour, but I could have done it in half that time if I had put things together in a more logical order rather than the booklet's order. Of course, you'll need a bike pump, which isn't mentioned, but the wheels are only partially inflated when you get them. br>br>There are a few places where you can tell money was saved, but they're all in the minor details that have no bearing on the bike itself. Take, for example, the instruction booklet, which is set up in an unusual way. The foam and plastic parts that surround the handlebars and the bike itself are very inexpensive, and I doubt they will last very long. The same can be said for the front-mounted backpack/pouch - I'm not sure why they bothered to make it a backpack because my perfectly normal-sized six-year-old can barely get it on her back and says it's very uncomfortable. But these are all minor quibbles about a product that offers excellent value for money.

It's a big hit with my little girl
4/5

My daughter is six years old and on the verge of turning seven. She is a little taller than her age group, so the bike is perfect for her! It's just that I wish the tires had been filled with more air. It appears that we'll have to accept it in order to obtain some. Aside from that, putting it together was a breeze. Other tools, which are not included with the bike but can be found in a simple tool box, will be required to tighten the bolts. It took no time at all to fix it! I'm so glad I found this bike because it was significantly less expensive than the others I saw. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to write truthful reviews! You, who wrote a review on this bike, helped me make an easy decision!.

My expectations for this bike were that it would be a good, inexpensive kid's bike, similar to what you might find in one of those big box stores
5/5

I'd say the quality was slightly higher than I had anticipated. My daughter isn't going to win the Tour de France on this bike, but the pedals and wheels spin smoothly, and the fit and finish are excellent. It's a winner because it's good value for the money we paid, and she likes it. If you're looking for a basic, inexpensive 18-inch girl's bike, I highly recommend this.

There was a rip in the seat
4/5

Today, the package was delivered. The box was carefully opened. There was a cut in the seat. due to insufficient packaging or factory inspection I was unable to reach the company by phone at their 800 number. According to the recording, the company should be contacted via email. owing to Covid- 19 I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to take a break from them. I'll send them an email in the hopes of getting a replacement seat. I enjoy riding the bike, but most of all, I enjoy spending time with my soon-to-be-seven-year-old daughter. Her new bike is a big hit with her granddaughter.

Dynacraft has let me down! We received this bike ahead of schedule as a birthday present
3/5

When we finally got it open, the back rim was badly bent. It was too late to return it to Amazon because it had been over 30 days. After a few days of enails and photos, I contacted the manufacturer. They have now informed me that the rim will be replaced. However, it is on back order, and it will take at least 5 or 6 weeks to receive it. so sad. My little one is in love with it and wants to ride it all of the time. And cant.

I bought it for my six-year-old daughter as a birthday present
5/5

year- It was a huge hit with my 6-year-old granddaughter. Very simple to put together, and the glitter, which they handle well with their bling, as well as the extra little purse, made her very happy. It's a must-have for any young lady.

The brake assembly broke during adjustment, so it was easy to put together
3/5

I had no trouble setting up the bike, but while adjusting the front tire brake, the screw holding it in place broke off at the nut. I had an extra nut that I could use on the end, but it was only a temporary fix. The brake itself is a little wobbly, but it does a good job of stopping the bike. I'll keep you updated as soon as I hear from the manufacturer.
