It should work fine as long as there are regular handle bars, and if the ties don't work, regular zip ties will suffice. I hope you find this information useful.
Yes, it'll fit on small bikes.
Two thin plastic straps were included with mine. I went to a hardware store to get some supplies. I purchased some heavy-duty cable ties made of plastic. They did a fantastic job even under the most rigorous use a four-year-old can muster (stuffing her favorite bear to ride in or loads of wooden blocks, etc.) She adores that basket - When you move or vibrate it, it lights up. No batteries have needed to be replaced thus far. It's held up much better than the one we put on her trike two years ago - In a matter of months, that one fell apart. This is a significant step forward!
My time was not nearly as long as yours.

It's a lovely basket, but it's full of harmful chemicals. This was printed on the label, but it was not mentioned in the online posting. If I had known ahead of time, I would not have purchased it; if this concerns you, consider another option. Aside from that, the basket is very cute, and it's a good size for small dolls and toys.
The flashing lights that appear when you pass over a bump are adorable. When the battery dies, keep in mind that there is no way to replace it (the instructions state as much). br>The straps for attaching it to the handlebars are extremely flimsy. Zip ties were used in my project.
The ties that were used to secure the basket to the bike are no longer functional. I gave up on the first day after it fell off several times. According to other reviews, zip ties were required to keep the basket in place. Before I can reattach it, I'll have to go out and purchase some. The basket is a good size and illuminates well; however, the company needs to improve the ties that hold it in place. Why not just hand out zip ties if that's what everyone ends up doing in the end?.
This basket has been a huge hit with us. My three-year-old daughter wanted a princess bike with a basket for her dolls, and we wanted to get her a better bike, so this was a great addition to her bike; however, it uses cheap fasteners, and I think better fasteners would help it stay on the bike better. I'm still using the ones that came with it, and the basket is still attached. She rides around with her dolls, rocks, and other treasures in the basket. The flower's lights are lovely, but I'm sure they won't last indefinitely. We've had it for three months and the lights are still on.
It's on the small side and fits perfectly on my younger daughter's 20-inch mountain bike, but it appears to be a tad small on my older daughter's 24-inch mountain bike; however, I like the size because she can't over-load it with large items that might distract her while riding. It's a small, inexpensive basket, but it's holding up admirably. I made it more secure and less floppy by using zip ties instead of the provided straps. The colors are vibrant and pleasant to the eye. In the end, what matters is that both of my daughters enjoy their baskets.
I wasn't sure it would work, but I was willing to take a chance because of the low price. The package arrived on time and in excellent condition. My daughter was ecstatic as all of the flowers lit up. Installation of the basket was a breeze. Two small plastic straps that go over and around the handle bar are all that's required. It's that simple. We've had the basket for almost a year and it still looks brand new, despite the fact that it's been heavily used by a four-year-old. This basket comes highly recommended by me. Schwinn continues to produce high-quality bicycles.
The basket's bottom is woven with large holes. If your child is anything like mine, while we're out and about, she likes to collect things. A lot of her smaller treasures get lost in the shuffle. I'm not sure why the holes in the bottom of the basket are bigger than the ones on the sides. It appears to me that this is a little backwards.
(The attachment device included with the basket appears to be cheap and unreliable. ) br> The basket is adorable in and of itself! It shouldn't be too big or too small. The light-up flowers are also fantastic! When the bike is moving, they light up.
