Selected User Reviews For VTech Lil' Critters Singin' Monkey Rattle, Yellow
Although this sounds like it would be a handy piece of paper with a convenient toy, I was hesitant between this one and the Baby Einstein Take Along Tunes Toy that is less than desirable for my needs. The result was curious. I finally selected this one. It is not clear from all of them whether this toy is really simple. Each feature of this one is minimal or minimal at all. Because it is very tough, my son, who already likes it, gets hit on the forehead when he grabs it. My first concern is that it might not be suitable for 3+ children. As well, I feel it could be used more than once by my baby (4 months), such as for banana twists and spines, or to play a sound by shaking or pressing the button. The sound plays for no more than a minute after my buttons are pressed. When they're busy, I cannot hold him to the button for all day. They didn't like it last night. Bitting is the only thing he can manage with the item.
It may seem strange for me to purchase unusual VTech items, but the only purchases I believe were irregular are these. I found that I had painted a monkey's face with an oil-painting solution. Nope, I wasn't interested in having the nose smeared with chalk. In the second case, it had issues with the way things were working out. This was a disappointment to me for me personally. There was no desire on my part to explore it a third time. My grandson was enamored with the other toys so the music was not quite as pleasing to him as the previous two ones, and it did not seem to attract him at all when I was held in front of him. Lion VTech sells now because I had already returned this. In my opinion, it was brilliant. We found that having so many sounds worked and offers so many opportunities.
This is the best toy for an infant. When we bought a second one for my grandson because he got so upset at having to leave his monkey at gramma's to buy another one he said he was the favorite to date. There's nothing better than spending quality time with your child, and the batteries last a long time. I'm certain I'll give it to all new moms.
The number of sound possibilities on this toy makes it well worth the money/size of the toy. I am a fan of its many noises and songs as well as the cost of the gift. The price was good tt my 6 month old & While he knows how to spin the ball now, a month later he is spinning it from another jumper. This means that the plastic rings on the bottom are on his sweater, so he knows how to use them. He plays around with it all the time on the floor so it is muffled in the carpet at least a little. If it had in-front or there was an option to make it louder, he would probably do so.
Around 2 months old, he began to become obsessed. The toy has been such a favorite for him since he was about nine months old that he has now been playing with it constantly. While it sings, he likes to twist the knobs on the guitar so that it stays locked in place. Because of this, he has not been able to find any toys or items to occupy himself. Recently (or maybe sooner than that, according to some reports he has been keeping, and I ordered him a new one). In addition to my baby shower/a and baby birthdays list to give as a gift!.
At first, he thought it made random noises when it was turned on since it had first been received a few weeks earlier. The thing was put away for a little while and then reintroduced, where he's inseparable since then. He has to use both hands to bat at the toys in tummy time while we are holding him. Once something stands out in his grasp, he attempts to crawl to it by grabbing it. It is probably the reason the toy got a five star rating because it memorized every musical key.
It made my son so happy whenever he played with it. Even today, he still does it. There was no further work after a few weeks. Batteries will not work if we change them too. Trying to play with it makes him get so frustrated. The pain I feel is nothing compared to the regret I feel for doing it. Since it's actually good, I'd like it to be replaced with a better one.
It is my son's favorite item, and he played with it for 2 months, so I purchased a second to replace as well as a back up since it is his favorite. ) Yes, I'm singing along with the monkey. (a) This is a fun way to spend time.
