The toy is adorable, and I like how it can be hung on his activity gym. But, for whatever reason, my four-month-old son has shown no interest in it thus far. I'm guessing the feet are just a little too big for him to put in his mouth, which is all he wants to do with toys these days. We'll keep it and see how he feels about it later. But, so far, he is quickly becoming bored with it.
This was purchased for my 7-month-old son. I was told she was two months behind in motor skills at her six-month wellness child check-up. I bought a variety of toys to see if she would be interested in them and to help her develop her motor skills. She finally started playing with it after hanging it on her gym mat for about two weeks. IT'S PERFECT FOR HER! I'll have to go out and buy another so we can keep one in the house and one in her car seat. She's now reaching and grabbing for this toy, whereas she wasn't doing anything like this before purchasing it. This toy is responsible for a significant portion of her advancement. It has a jingling bell and a mirror on the turtle's belly, which she adores. This small turtle is highly recommended.
The feet jingle but not in an alarming way and also make a crinkle sound, which is very cute and colorful. On the turtle's stomach is a neat mirror. This is a good toy to hang on the bars of a baby floor mat/gym or to put in a car seat. I would have given it five stars if it weren't such a poor "pull toy. " I assumed the baby could pull it towards himself, stretching the blue cord before snapping it back when he let go, but it only stretches about half an inch! The elastic cord has very little give, but the rest of it is fantastic!.
This little turtle is so cute, and my little one adores it. The colors are vibrant and stimulating, the rattles are amusing, and the bottom-mounted mirror is the best and most clever feature of all. When I sit on his activity mat or in his car seat, he likes to stare at himself. The clip is also extremely useful.
This jerk turtle is currently my son's favorite toy, and it gave him his first smiles! Since he was about 5 weeks old, my son has enjoyed lying beneath it and staring at himself in the mirror. Just for the smiles it still gets from him, it's well worth the money.
As you can see from the photo, it's very cute and colorful. My newborn, on the other hand, does not appear to be drawn to it. He is more interested in the smaller stuff animals (which are less adorable and colorful). I believe it is due to its size; his small hand can't even hold on to the four feet, and it appears to be much larger than he is, so he has no interest in it. I'm hoping he'll have more fun with this as he grows older.
My son enjoys this toy even more now that he is almost four months old. The mirror is nice, but it has a funhouse feel to it, and it's difficult to notice because the feet are almost completely blocking the mirror. br>It's still entertaining for him to play with, but don't buy it because of the mirror.
It's a hit with the baby girl, who thinks it's adorable. There are two of them in our possession. One is attached to her Infantino play gym, while the other is kept in the diaper bag for outings. I bought it because she didn't seem to like the gym's toys, so I wanted to try something different. It worked perfectly. She's now 6 months old and will smack anything she can get her hands on, but she does seem to prefer certain toys over others, and this is one of them.
