In 1994, this was one of the best purchases I made for my first child, and it's probably even better now. From the time they were infants to preschoolers, all four of my kids used the same mirror. I've got it still!

Are you referring to if it was hung in a crib? No, I do not believe that is true. Tummy time was the most common application.
I haven't decided yet. It's not like a real mirror, which is made of glass. The "cheap" mirror, however, is not one of them. such as the material used on most baby toys, which distorts their image

safe. My baby cracked this mirror that I'd had for 5 months. I'm dissatisfied that a child-directed film has been released. The mirror in the safe has been broken. This mirror was also not cheap. Over the years, I've learned to value quality above all else. For a worthwhile toy, I was willing to pay this price. But, in the end, this toy was a waste of money. (I am the mother of six children, the oldest of whom is twelve years old. ) I only bring this up to say that when it comes to toys, I have fairly realistic expectations. It's a shame this toy didn't meet their expectations).
Do not second-guess yourself! This is without a doubt one of the most excellent purchases I've made in the last nine months. When our daughter was one month old and started getting flat head, we bought this to put in her crib. We put it in her play area for tummy time when it arrived, and we've used it every day for the past nine months. My daughter enjoys looking in the mirror, so I either prop it up against something or hang it from the ceiling. She likes to crawl under it now that it's hung and look at the black and white photos on the back. br>br>I did a lot of research before purchasing this one and chose it because the majority of the others I found were made with toxic chemicals. We've been very happy with how well it works and would strongly recommend it.
The best unbreakable mirror you'll ever see! This mirror has been in my possession for nearly two decades. For all those years, it was used and enjoyed by my five children. We still have it and use it, despite the fact that it is scratched. I just bought one as a gift, and it looks to be of the same high quality! I thought the first one was a little pricey at the time, but I couldn't find anything nearly as big or safe for my child, so I went ahead and bought it. Since then, I don't believe the price has increased. The price was well worth it.
I bought it for my granddaughter's crib and nothing else. It is something she uses on a regular basis. She's only five months old, but she enjoys peering inside. It's large, which is great, and has little straps that allow me to tie it to the crib bars, so she doesn't scratch it. In the crib, I have a mesh bumper pad that is tied just above the bumper pad and hangs in front of the bumper. So she couldn't get behind it, I tucked it into the side of the mattress. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase.
We are unable to use this product due to the chemical odor it emits. We cleaned it and aired it out, but it still doesn't work. br>It's a fantastic idea for our newborn, but we won't be able to use it. br>Because our return window has also closed, we are stuck with this item and have already spent over $25. br>It was a huge letdown. br>I'd assume that because this item is only for babies, it would be free of chemical odors.
It's hung next to the changing station, and it keeps the little one occupied. Unlike most baby mirrors, which look like they belong in a funhouse, this one provides a clear reflection. On the other hand, the images on the other side are bold and unique enough that he enjoys taking everything in. I would strongly suggest it.
The learning game on the back is also enjoyable; she hasn't grown tired of it yet. I've now put it in the car with us when we go on longer trips, and it's really helped her enjoy it. It's an excellent investment. The only thing I would change is that they should have included a back prop so you don't have to hang it on something or use a wall.
I prop it up against some furniture for the younger babies and hang linking rings with rattles from the top to encourage them to look up and lift their heads. I like to lay it on the floor in front of them with a toy on it (suction cup toys work well) as they get older and can easily prop their elbows on it so that they can see themselves and even me if I'm sitting behind them to help and work on shifting weight and reaching. I can sit behind them and keep an eye on them in the mirror propped vertically in front of me while watching their facial expressions and seeing how they reach and play with toys once they've mastered sitting. I'm sure it would work well as a crib toy as well, though I've never tried it because my own child is 22 years old! br>br>Our early intervention teacher likes the black and white designs on the back because they provide great visual stimulation.
