" Yes, that's us as well. "Lamby" is a character created by my daughter. Because I washed the first one by accident, you should be aware that it is made of cardboard on the inside and cannot be washed in the sink. br>br>We went through a second and third one because it's only surface washable and gets really dirty if your kid is as obsessed as ours is. It's entertaining and can be used in a variety of situations; We even hung the little fish and duck that came with it from her phone, which she really liked. If you have a baby who is just starting to enjoy tummy time or has never done so before, this toy may be able to assist them in doing so. Our little girl carries it around with her and constantly points to it. Her turtle is one of her most cherished possessions. br>br>The feet are fantastic for chewing on! They crinkle, so she eats them right away.

This is a fantastic little gift for babies who can see their own reflection. Even though my little one only wants to put it in his mouth, the size is appropriate for him to hold it. Haha. The "stand" is the only thing I think could be improved. It has a tendency to topple over simply by breathing on it. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> My LO insisted on putting everything in his mouth, including the mirror, so I had to wash it. The "leg" on the back that held it up practically melted and is no longer usable. When I washed it, I was very careful. Cold, delicate cycle, and hang to dry in a washing machine (in a laundry bag). I wash all of his toys in this manner and have never had any problems with them. I'm disappointed because I won't be able to use this any longer.
The mirror is crystal clear, and the addition of small toys and sensory items is a nice touch. I also like that it comes with a tie and a stand, which we used to tie it to their kick. To give them something else to look at while they're playing with that item, play piano gym. For small babies, this is a fantastic addition to their play area. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> We still adore the mirror after about 6 months of use. The stand, on the other hand, is a shambles. It's very flimsy now that it's not attached to anything, and it doesn't stay in place very well. It's much more durable if you can attach it to something with the rings or ties. Our children have reached the stage where they want to sit for longer periods of time and are beginning to move around. As a result, I believe we'll move this to one of the cribs for some early morning entertainment.
I currently have THREE of these in my possession. Three, to be exact! The first was given to me as a present. I use it as a baby mirror in our car so that I don't go insane from worry while driving around with my toddler. br>In our car (a Honda Element), it just fits around the headrest. Over the last year, I've tried it in three or four other cars, and it doesn't fit many of the headrests in those vehicles. If you're crafty, you could add some extra velcro to the strap to make it longer. Alternatively, you could do what I do and improvise by jamming it or handing it in the car. I'd always figured out a way to get around a problem. br>br>What is it about this mirror that I find so appealing? There are no small plastic pieces to break, and it is SOFT. br>I had a hard plastic mirror before this one. Even though it was light, it was made of plastic. The mirror was "adjustable," which meant it was mounted on a post and could be moved around. It also meant that as soon as my toddler learned how to grab onto things, he broke it off as I tried to get him into his seat. Then I put some epoxy on it, and he broke it all over again. So I'm done with hard plastic mirrors because they're too fragile for little hands to handle. (Babies are more powerful than you might believe! Or. The plastic is not as strong as you would like it to be. br>br>So, while this small mirror isn't perfect, it meets my needs and comes at a reasonable price; I like it so much that I bought one for each of my grandparents' homes.
I originally bought it for the car, but when it arrived, I showed it to my two-month-old, who seemed to enjoy the bright colors. Tummy time made him cry because he despised it. He stopped crying after I placed him in front of this mirror. Other mirrors were tried, but he seemed uninterested. This one has a curve, which I believe he liked. His head appears to be larger as a result of it. He enjoys staring at himself in the mirror and enjoying the crinkling sound made by the turtle feet. Instead, we chose to use it for tummy time. It has a built-in stand in the back that keeps it upright. It can also be adjusted to a variety of angles.
