We bought this for a 4 year old to teach them time while they are homeschooling during the Covid This mobile phone is very cute. It looks sturdy, and it is very easy to use. However, the only problem is that the second hand does not move independently, and this makes things a little more difficult. It is actually harder to learn to wind the clock using the big hand than by simply placing the hands in the correct position and checking whether it says he is right. I am rating durability on appearance since I haven't used for long enough to know.

The following modes are available The first lets children set a time on a clock face and then the voice announces it aloud. With the second mode, the children have to set the clock to a specific time. I have found this a wonderful tool to teach my two youngest preschoolers how to tell time. They understood this toy much better by playing with it rather than I explaining.

The app teaches time fast, but it would be better if it could teach minus instead of 5 minute increments however, it is very helpful and easy to use. Although it is a clock, it is meant more for teaching than merely keeping time. Due to the training time being too short for early learners, one star has been docked. The question expires before they have a chance to answer it. The star rating would rise to 5 if they had timed the answer period to be longer.
