It is all wood, it is thick enough and strong enough to hold without breaking, I love it and would highly recommend it to you that you consider it as such a great product
It appears that those pieces are cut to order and we don't have any extras. I apologize for the inconvenience.
I would imagine that the "toy" part (putting the shapes in the holes, matching the numbers) is meant for a younger child just learning shapes and numbers at the moment. It's a great toy for 6 year olds who want to learn how to tell time on a bright and colorful device I think this would make a good digital clock. There are small numbers next to the standard numbers on the clock that indicate the actual minutes (under the 1 there is a small 5, under the 6 a small 30, etc.). I would still probably look elsewhere for a toy for a 6 year old.
are still placed where they are supposed to be.

I gave the gift to my grandchild as a Christmas gift. Because the gift was wrapped in a box, the defects could not be seen until it was One part of the clock was even cracked and did not have a glue joint. This clock was made up of multiple layers of thin, butty "wood. " The quality was NOT the same solid wood quality I was accustomed to with Melissa & Doug Since the child was distracted with other gifts, I glued the major defect areas rather than going through the hassle of repackaging and returning the product. I would urge others to examine this product carefully before giving it to children. There is no excuse for Melissa and her behavior I apologise to Doug for making such a poor choice in material design and for performing such bad.
It has been exactly 3 years since I ordered this clock The ring is still with her and is still in use. The toy was a hit with my toddler cousin, who enjoyed playing with Having seen her interest in it, I naturally returned to Amazon to buy it for her. As soon as we got it, I was disappointed. Our old model and this one were held side by side. A lot of the quality has gone down with the weight and design of it. There is a heavier and more durable clock in my daughter's room. I was very disappointed in this new one since it looked like it was made from cardboard. Although I still gave it to her, I told them I was unhappy with it. Doug and Melissa, I apologize. We will not be purchasing your products in the future. It is evident that you do not care how your products are made.
If necessary, nbsp The clock was bought for me when my son was 1 years old in 2013. It feels like he's been in a long time (instead of 4 years). Despite the passing of time, the clock has survived well, as have many of my other Melissa & Doug pieces Several of the toys I own for Doug (such as for example.
Rather than buying this clock for its functionality, I bought it for its shape There is a sorting aspect to it. There are 12 unique shapes on this board, each to be fitted into its own hole. I feel this product offers good value for money in providing my 14 month old with a wide selection of shapes and colors from which to develop The knowledge she receives through this product will be valuable as she matures. She will also become more confident in her ability to count and what the time is.
Again, the skill set offered by this product is a superb value. The playroom, classroom, or homeschool room will be a great addition with this. There is just one critique of Melissa and Doug that I can make, that is after you become accustomed to premium brands like Hape, Haba, or even the Alex line of wooden toys, it's obvious the craftsmanship is not up to par. The product is much thinner and not sanded to the same degree of softness as the toys by As a 5-star toy based on the skills that this particular toy offers, I would still recommend its purchase dollar for dollar Purchase of a star While I believe Melissa and Doug offers a variety of product that will last the course of time, I don't feel it will outlast other brands.
His primary favorite wooden puzzles are from Melissa and Doug (especially those with the big geometric shapes and bright colors), and this one caught his attention because of the big geometric shapes and bright The clock arms are made of durable materials which is a bonus. When he was 19 months old, he was able to put away the puzzle blocks on his own. By 20 months, he was able to name most of the shapes and The fact that my son learns to pronounce rhombus before diamond is funny to me. The fact that he doesn't know how to tell time yet and is still discovering numbers means we will be able to utilize this more. For your information I included a picture of the little feet on the bottom to make sure that the clock does not lie flat. Furthermore, there is only one side of the shape with the numbers.
Due to its complicated shapes, I decided to buy it. It takes my little one no time to grasp the basics and a few more complicated shapes like a crescent, semi circle, or A parallelogram is a 2, a pentagon is a 5, a hexagon is a 6, an octagon is an 8, and a trapezoid is a 9. A four-leaf clover (which is a cross) is what my little one believes the 1 is. The set teaches children how to tell and identify time, colors, numbers, shapes, and numbers in three dimensions. Having this in our home preschool is great and I would only change one thing, I'd make it magnetic, I already knew it wasn't, but it would be nice. My little one loves to carry this to the bin it goes in and the pieces always fall out of it.
Melissa and Doug products have been excellent in my experience, and I have purchased many of them in the past. Melissa and Doug manufactured a product of such poor quality, and I would not recommend this clock puzzle to my worst enemies. The thin wood, chipped/smudged paint, and splinter hazard led me to believe that this clock puzzle was an impostor.
