There is an agonizing amount of effort involved in moving the clock hands. For them to be moved, you need to pick them up. When you do this, you bend the hands, thereby ensuring that their lives will be shortened. In addition, when you pick up the hands, you bend the clock's face as well. The production gets a 1 out of 5 Getting to know life in a classroom over two weeks. The rivet problem should be fixed so that the product will be much better.
As I teach time to my first graders, I found they needed a more hands-on experience To understand how to tell time to the half hour and hour, you need to take the following approach. The hands of the clocks I had were the same color as the hands of the larger clocks. They were bought as a great personal manipulative since the hands had different colors and the minutes were labeled. I've had nothing but wonderful feedback from my students about them. Due to their fragility, we guided our hands with caution and wiped away our work instead of pressing them back into the paper. It is clear that the students take great care of After the unit is completed, I will allow the students to keep their clocks, which was a relatively inexpensive set. The program also includes a teacher's version that is very useful! Since it allows me to enter digital time as well as conventional time, it is far more helpful than the traditional Judy clock. In my position as a teacher, I highly recommend this item, and I plan on purchasing another one.
We are not happy about this Hands turn so slowly that it is difficult to move them. It is hard for me to believe that these will ever be a high-quality My hands seem to be unable to move now that I'm an adult. We will not be able to enjoy them for A portion of the wing has bent or is about to tear off. Investing in plastic ones would have been a better move!.
The only number it came with was For that price, it is a complete rip off.
I was a bit surprised at how flimsy this gadget was. They were very popular with my students, but some of them struggled with moving their hands from one position to another. Like laminated paper, the hands themselves also look like that. Though I do enjoy the fact that it is dry erase, I would have been better off spending the extra money on a more durable.
I found these helpful. However, the hands didn't move all that easily, but they managed to do what they were supposed to do. My virtual class required me to buy the book.
The product is an excellent way to teach time, have students learn how to set regular clocks, and have them get hands-on experience.
It would be great if I could use these with third grade. The set comes with an extra large clock and fine point, wipe-free, write and wipe markers. Yet to be used, I'm waiting for another shipment of fine point markers.
