The actual shape of the pegs ensures that they stay shut, but they are also easy to open! The egg carton is very sturdy, and the design is great!
We have never seen any of our greatgrandkids put them in their mouths. They are about the size of a large egg. In any case, I doubt they would fit. These are the ones they like because they are matched by color and number. Kids like to pull them apart because they are hard to pull apart and the other ones just fall apart.
That is how many prongs there are on each side as well as on Color and number are the only characteristics that will make an egg match.

I've been happy with this product for my daughter who has been in several therapies to improve her fine motor skills, etc.
Although the number 4 egg sticks together too hard for her and she can't get it out, the other eggs have been fine. In her current work, she is trying to recognize numbers, but the numbers are the same color as the background, only slightly raised, and therefore difficult to see. Although I wasn't sure if that was the intention, I found it difficult to keep her interested because she was hard to see. They were made a bit more discernible with the help of a black permanent marker. I love how durable the carton is as well as how well the eggs hold up. The photos I have attached show the difference in visibility when the numbers are bolded with a marker before and after it is made more visible.
Christmas was the favorite time of year for my daughter. Her color recognition skills improved greatly with the use of this tool. My recommendation for this toy would be 5 stars, but for the following shortcomings I-*- *- It would be better if the color selection were better. In addition to the light orange color we call orange, there is also a red color that we call red Red is what we call orange, and brown is what we call tan. Given that these are designed to be worn by individuals 18+ months old, they ought to be more orange, red, and brown in color. There is an 18-year-old Currently, a month-old baby does not know what red is It is in the color orange family. In addition, there are 2 shades of green and blue Instead of two shades of yellow, I would have preferred white, gold, or teal to substitute for the second shade. As well as these toys, our other toys are colored this way. I-*- *- Two of the eggs are too difficult for our child (now 19 months old) to open, and one of the eggs falls open on its The toy is fun to play with, however, and we play with it more than once a At this age, it is very rare to find a toy that makes any sounds or uses electronics. Fine motor skills are improved as well as colors are taught. Definitely recommended for children between the ages of 18 months and 2 years.
(My nephew was well over 18 months old when he lodged half of one of these eggs in his mouth. ) It is dangerous to play with a toy like this. There is no way to express how disappointed I am.
In a number of areas, you will need extra assistance. Almost all of the toys available these days are educational and can help kids with sensory issues, learning delays, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, etc. I am always on the lookout for toys I can keep in the house that can address a few of these needs. It was amazing to see these eggs and A toddler in my care might benefit from this book in his development through color identification, counting, etc Exercise motor skills by opening the eggs and being able to put the halves of the eggs back together on their own. It was fun to watch him open all of the eggs and he sat and looked at each one for a while (which is perfect for a toddler). When we have a chance, we'll try and see what happens Re-assemble them as best as you can. It has already become easier to get the eggs together after he has been working with them for such a short time. (he turned two just a few days ago), he is very vulnerable. Repacking all of the eggs into the sturdy box would suffice (and This toy is really sturdy, you did a great job! a worthwhile use of time This product is very good to me.
This is a present I bought for my two-year-old For Christmas, I wanted to give my grandson, who just turned one. (A carton of plastic eggs! I was eager to get away from them! acquired them after reading the positive They were a hit with him! He opened a second present of the day, and continued to look at this one in silence! Every time he took them apart and put them back together, he would put them back together again. It was fun for him to take them out of the plastic carton and put them back in. His hands were the perfect size for them. While they were easy to take apart, they were very tenacious when they were put back together. It has been a couple of weeks since Christmas, but he still enjoys My recommendation for this product is strong.
We had my 1-year old hunt them for Easter so she would be able to compete with the older It doesn't matter that she can't put them together alone yet, she loves them. It is not advisable to purchase this for small children, as one of the colorful pieces fell out within a month. As a result, there is a choking hazard for small children. Apart from that, it appears they are well constructed and of good quality.
Other kids were there and out of all the toys they had, these eggs were the first they chose to play with. Even though some were just throwing them around, the rest were opening them up and inspecting the colors inside. There was great interest in them! Our little one has been enjoying them on most of our overnight road trips thanks to their easy-to-transport case. The toy has been useful while in transit to keep him occupied. Earlier I read one of the comments about the numbers being difficult to read. The reviewer who colored them with a black marker clearly liked that and I will probably do the same. So far, our little one doesn't know his numbers, so we haven't been too concerned about that. The games have bright colors inside, and they're great for matching.
They are awesome and I am so happy to have found them. As an example, here is our old set The eggs had white surfaces and yellow interiors with a number and corresponding amount of pegs embossed on the outside. As for this set, the pegs are a little thicker and have a little extra color, but the set is also exactly what we were hunting for Suitable for younger kids with a match feature. This is what I was searching for!.
