Green Toys has always been a big part of my life. Several of us own them and are deeply in love with While I like the shape sorter, it doesn't appeal to me as much as other things. Green Toys will no longer be supported by me. The year 2020 marked the first year I bought a lot of Green Toys for my infant son. There was a strong odor of laundry detergent coming from all the toys. It looked like a customer had returned the toys to me after washing them with laundry detergent. At first I thought that I had received returned toys. I regret to inform you that that was not The company actually should have been held accountable for this. In an email I sent to Green Toys, they confirmed that the problem presented itself. I was told to just put them in the dishwasher or to let them air out because they didn't think it was an issue. In the scorching California sun for months, I let them air out, but they still smelled bad. The fact that I could not give them to my baby made me very upset. It was shocking how bad they smelled to everyone who smelled them. If my son put these in his mouth, I would not allow it. However, when January 2021 comes around, I decide to buy three additional Green Toys for my son. This issue had almost certainly been fixed by now for Green Toys. They didn't STUNK so bad as I thought they did! Having read your email, I emailed Green Toys again to let them know It had been a week since I wrote them, and they finally responded after I sent them a third email. I did get a response after my third email that they would replace the toys. However, my son had already outgrown those toys by then, as he had already outgrown them in the first place. After returning my last order with no response, I returned the last order I placed. The fact that a company with such a good reputation continues to sell toys like this is really disappointing.
