When my son was two months old, I bought this for him and he absolutely loved it. I hung it on his bassinet, and he spent a lot of time staring at the pictures. He used to enjoy grabbing it when he was younger. I only thought about the fact that it's made of paper and that he might get a paper cut. He didn't, fortunately.

What an embarrassment! The 619 4 1/2 star reviews should not be used to make a purchase decision. It's a complete waste of time. The pieces are made of the same material that is used in the production of playing cards. Yes, the pieces are described as cards, but I was expecting plastic cards rather than paper cards. The top hanging pieces are connected to the main part by ribbon, which is nice; however, the lower hanging pieces have slots cut into them and are connected by tabs on one edge of the top hanging pieces, which is not so nice. I understand they're made this way so the pieces can be reversed, but there are a thousand better ways to design this in today's world. This mobile was purchased as a gift for my daughter, who is expecting her first child. It isn't going to her. I got this as part of a lightning deal, so I didn't have to pay full price, but I expected much more from a company like The Manhattan Toy Company. They should be ashamed that their name appears on this item.
My baby has been fascinated by this mobile since he was about a month old. She couldn't take her gaze away from it. It is made of thin flexible plastic rather than paper or cardboard, as some reviews claim. It won't fall apart if it gets wet, but it won't stand up to chewing or crumpling because it wasn't made for it.
Upd. She's been playing with this toy for 5 months and hasn't grown tired of it. It's great in the car (she despises being in there, so I'm glad there's something to keep her occupied for a while), and she's recently discovered how to remove the lowest circles and chew on them. They've made it this far, but she still doesn't have any teeth.
Today is the third week of my baby's life. He spends a lot of time in his pack and play just staring into space, which seems like a waste of his awake time, but he isn't interested in any of the toys I have, including a floor mat with dangling things that I lay him on. Despite the fact that it appeared to be a dud, I took a chance on this phone. It's something he really enjoys. Last night, he stared at it for nearly two hours. I feel better about putting him in his rock and play now that he's been staring at it for almost an hour while I took a shower and ate breakfast because he has something to look at. It's a simple concept, but he's completely engrossed in it for some reason. It was well worth the money.
This toy is a hit with my 7-week-old son! She takes a good look at it and tries to bat it away. It keeps her focused better than any other toy we have, and I like that the discs can be switched around! Furthermore, the mobile can be hung straight or at an angle, and the clip can be used on her toy bar, car seat, or bouncy seat!.
) I like how I can attach it to almost anything, such as her swing or play gym! br>The other day, we had just arrived home and she was hungry, but I needed to use the restroom first. With her screaming, I snatched her from her car seat and laid her on her play gym, spinning the toy around as I dashed to the bathroom! She was smiling and swatting at it when I returned two minutes later. Haha! br>I'm tempted to get a second one in case the first one gets misplaced or breaks. It's well worth the money at this price! Oh, my goodness! br>br>Oh, my goodness! br>br>Oh, my goodness! As an added bonus, due to the design, it folds down almost flat (except for the clip) and can be used almost anywhere. even in your handbag This is something I've done a lot of.
This is without a doubt one of my top five favorite newborn toys! My son was enthralled by the patterns and shapes in black and white. We used it in the car, in the stroller, and on flights on a regular basis. br>br>Around the age of 5, we stopped using it as much. After 5 months, my son was strong enough to pull off the small discs instead of just looking at the phone, and crinkle/soft books became his new favorite toy. I've included a link to our favorite. .
and a black-and-white portrait of a face It has a strong hold on her. When she sees it, she smiles, laughs, sighs, and babbles, and she will stare at it (especially the face) for a long time; she prefers to look directly at it, and she gets upset if the face is upside down, so we have to make sure the face is looking and smiling back at her! The image is affectionately referred to as her boyfriend by us. When it's naptime, it's difficult to pry her away from it, and I love how portable the phone is. It comes with a wide clip that can be used to attach it to almost anything. We've been attaching it to the top of her play gym (the Lovevery gym, which we adore!). ), and it performs admirably in that setting. The mobile is described as being made of paper in some of the negative reviews, but it is actually made of lightweight plastic. It's definitely coated/protected (and thus quite durable), and the light weight is intentional, given that it's a mobile device (duh). It's designed to move with the wind, and its light weight makes it more portable and packable.
This toy is the only one that keeps my baby's attention for a long time. She won't look away from the pictures. The best part about this toy is that it clips to just about anything! So I've got it clipped to her floor play gym, but I also have it clipped to the ceiling above her swing. It's designed to attach to a car seat or stroller! Which I intend to do, but for the time being, we don't go very far and the car puts her to sleep. I intend to purchase this as a baby shower present for everyone I know in the future.
