My two-year-old granddaughter saw this sitting in my room for over a month and I finally broke down and gave it to her for her birthday. I purchased this for my grandson's 1st Birthday but he never connected with it, even though I bought it for him. The first time she played with it, she played with it for 45 minutes straight. She has played with it multiple times per day since then. Her favorite thing to do is to sing like most little ones with this, she is able to sing her own songs or become a Baby DJ, playing the song It also loves to be beaten with a hammer, but thus far there hasn't been a mark left. A small steering wheel, horn to honk and an engine that turns over are all part of the fun. of my favorite things about this toy is that for all the activities, there are only two loose parts that can be replaced if they go missing, and everything works still. They have been put back in their places by my granddaughter so far. I bought this toy for my granddaughter and immediately ordered a second one and had Amazon deliver it straight to him when I saw how much fun my granddaughter was having with it. Obviously, this is a sturdy, durable hammer that is very hard to break. His older brothers will have a blast teaching him how to use it, and I'm sure that he's going to have a blast with It's important to know that there are a few different shops to buy this from on Amazon, and they all charge different prices. I wish this toy had a volume control switch, because it is a bit loud with the hammer it comes with. She really likes to play with the hammer this toy comes with, and beats it against things, but that is okay. While she is occupied for some time on the piano, she is provided with a variety of sound effects and activities.
My 2 year old daughter is terrified of this when it's turned on since I got it for Christmas. There is none. So you are forced to use a super loud toy. Even though she loves all the little things, if that crazy loud volume is on, it will send her to tears every time. I would give it 5 stars if it had a volume control.
I have a problem with it, though, and I don't know if anyone else has experienced these issues You can hear the sound only when you push the big white circle. This was not working when I got it and I was ready to send it back to the store. However, my older son did something and this work properly now. After a couple weeks of working on the same problem, it's the same today. There's no way I can send it back now as I threw away the box and it isn't going to be helpful since no one is going to sit all the time in this big circle.
The toy itself is awesome, but one doesn't get a chance to hear the volume on it. There's so much fun to be had with it, but it's also challenging to handle when my toddler is holding it. It lights up and sings when he hits Sometimes I catch my 5 year old playing with it.

We bought this for the very energetic 1 year old in our family and she loves I love how she will play with it for quite some time and also the small microphone it has attached. I think it's a perfect size and definition. It would be recommended.
