I'm not sure, but I don't think kids will cling to it in order to bite it. Up until he was two years old, my son would bite anything and drool. He hasn't bit any of the toy parts, and the major and well-known PD clinics where I go in Singapore have this toy for the kids to play with. It is durable and simple to rotate 360 degrees.
No, I've had several, one in the daycare I ran for years and another I bought for my grandson for Christmas last year, because they have too many parts and don't come apart.
It's made entirely of wood, and my grandson enjoys opening and closing the small wooden doors, which feature animal pictures on the inside.

We were ecstatic to receive this for my niece, and she absolutely adored it. What I didn't like was that she got paint chips all over her hands, feet, and face within minutes of playing with it. I immediately sent it back.
Compared to other plastic activity tables I've seen on the market, this one has a lot more options for kids. My almost one-year-old has been enjoying it for a few months now because there's something to do on every side and on the top. She is only able to use one side at this time. A wooden piece must be guided up a track by you. Her fine motor skills aren't quite there yet, but she'll be able to use them later, and she'll be busy with the other activities in the meantime. br>br>Please be aware that your child has the ability to tip this item over. My child grabs it and places it on its side on purpose, which isn't a big deal. Despite the fact that it is a sturdy toy, she has no complaints about tipping it over on her leg. I just wanted to let other parents know that it's a good idea to make sure your child has progressed far enough to fall down on their butt when they lose their balance. It should be fine if your child has reached that milestone. br>br>Overall, I prefer this purchase to the plastic lights/sounds activity tables.
This is the most adorable wooden activity cube I've ever seen. My ten-month-old daughter enjoys it, and her three-and-a-half-year-old sister enjoys playing with the beads at the top. It's adorable in our living room, makes no noise, and doesn't require batteries. There was no damage from shipping because it was well-packaged in its box. I would strongly suggest it.
The company appears to have addressed and fixed several of the other reviewers' concerns about the toy's safety. The corners have been sanded down to make them less sharp, and it is no longer on a spinning base like a Lazy Susan. br>br>As for the amenities of this activity center, they are excellent. Many aspects of it appeal to our seven-month-old, and I believe he'll continue to use it for a long time because many of the elements are geared toward older children as well (alphabet games and puzzle matching, for example). It's brightly colored, with fun shapes and styles to play with, as well as a variety of things to spin, open, and close. br>br>It's a little bigger than I expected, measuring 12" x 12" x 12" for the box alone, not including the top bead maze. br>br>Overall, a fantastic activity center that, in my opinion, is well worth the $56 price tag when compared to others we've seen and played with.
We bought two of these items as Christmas gifts for our granddaughters. One was four months old, while the other was eight months. It had been a long time coming. both girls will enjoy it The younger one had only recently begun to sit alone, and she was enthralled by all the moving parts. The older child enjoys all of the side activities, but she especially enjoys holding onto the bead track now that she is learning to stand. Note that the Bead Track can be placed on the side of the Busy Town so that a child who is not yet standing can play with the beads. The adults adore the fact that, despite the large number of moving parts, they are all connected, making cleanup a breeze!.
My Busy Town is one of our favorites, and I'm sorry I had to give it one star. We live in the tropics of Hawaii, where it's hot and humid, and I didn't realize it was home to a mold colony for a month. I've tried everything from wiping to disinfecting; Mold continues to reappear. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it now.
This was a gift for our grandson, and he absolutely adores it! He always goes to it when he's playing, and it keeps him occupied for an unusually long time (he was almost 9 months when we gave it to him). Be aware that if the child grabs onto it to pull himself or herself up, it will tip. If you put your hand on the other side of the child's weight, you can easily solve this problem. He is interested in all of the activities and will learn to use them in various ways. (As a child development specialist, I always gravitate toward learning and "grow with" toys. ).
I was torn between two activity cubes and am glad I went with this one. It's secure, entertaining, and well-built. This not only got my 9-month-old son to crawl, but it also got his 4-year-old sister and 9-year-old cousin to do so. This was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I wanted to make sure it was everything the reviews said it was, and now they're throwing a fit when I try to hang it. Well done, Alex toys!.
