Not in the least. I expected washable paint in a young children's craft kit, but it ruined our rug. It's best to do this outside or on a tablecloth made of plastic.
The name of the package is Package: 15" H x 6" W x 15" H x 15" H 4" W x 0. 8" L, so make sure you've got a big enough stocking!

That was fine by me, but my daughter wasn't so patient. To make the wand, you must first wait for the glue to dry on the stick and the star, and then begin painting your base coat. Then you'll have to wait for it to dry. Then, on one side, place the gems with glue. Wait for it to dry before you do anything else. After that, apply them to the other side and let them dry. Then, using glitter glue, adhere the pieces together. Wait for it to dry before you do anything else. After that, you can play by tying the ribbons on. A couple of coats of paint will be needed if you want it to be darker. We used two coats and the result was fantastic. It was clear that the first coat wasn't sufficient. This is a fun toy at a reasonable price that my 5-year-old enjoys.
However, you should use glue to join the pieces. This toy was a Christmas present for my daughter. She was enthralled by the prospect of creating her own magic wand. The item itself is the source of my problems. The star is simply pressed against the stick. Not even a smidgeon of glue. My daughter was swimming and waving her wand around when the star flew away and landed squarely in my eye. extremely risky Please use glue to join the pieces!.
This was purchased as part of a recital gift from my grandparents for my five-year-old daughter. She was enthralled by it and was eager to open it. She was able to wait until the next day after I persuaded her to wait until a better time (and not in the parking lot). She was completely ecstatic- The girl enjoys crafts, particularly those that involve paint, gems, and glitter. She has a short attention span, but she put in a lot of effort on this project and stayed with it far longer than I expected. The materials were diverse, and she had enough left over to store them in her craft box for future projects; the glue appears to be holding up well. It hasn't broken despite some rough handling by her two-year-old brother, and all of the gems are still intact (I was concerned that the amount of paint she used would cause them to fall out). We knitted instead of trying to tie a bow because the ribbon was a little thick. Cutting it in half would have solved the problem, but she didn't want to. She even kept the mess to a minimum, which is out of character for her, and the small mess she did make was easily cleaned up. She is very proud of her wand, which has been used by both of my children quite a bit. I was even considering giving it away as a party favor at our upcoming birthday celebration.
This wand kit is a fantastic present for young ladies! I bought one for my daughter during the Christmas season, and she absolutely loved it! I let her decorate it however she wanted, and she hasn't stopped playing with it nearly three months later! The only issue is that the star does not stay firmly attached to the stick, so I had to use wood glue to keep it in place. However, I've since purchased three more for the other little girls I babysit! They're a hit with everyone! They're fantastic as a present!.
Everything was as expected, and the product is of excellent quality, and it was delivered on time and in good condition. Thank you so much, Seller! br>Unfortunately, Amazon has joined the ranks of "Giant Tech" in Cancel Culture (or call-back culture). Conservative Americans are being pushed out of social and professional circles in a modern form of ostracism known as "out culture" - either through social media, in person, or both As a result, I will no longer use Amazon to purchase or receive products. The corporation is an embarrassment to American ideals!.
This was one of the Christmas gifts I bought for my three children. What a fantastic idea this is for my 5-year-old niece. On Christmas Day, she painted and assembled it. She loved having the freedom to personalize it. That evening, one of her friends came over, and I ended up telling her mother where she could get one, because the friend wanted one as well. The gem star and heart stickers will most likely fall off, but for $6, this is a fantastic project. For scale, I photographed the box next to a standard-size post-it note; just to clarify, the box is small, and the wand is approximately one foot long.
But, as minor as it may appear, I'd prefer not to have my paint mixed up. It was almost as if it had been sealed. As a result, it's very likely that the colors were mixed up during the packing process. I believe this is an excellent gift for your children. Just make sure your paint is in good shape.
I gave this to my 8-year-old granddaughter as a gift because she enjoys painting. The brushes that come with it are a complete waste of time. That didn't work out at all because the star has too many small lines to keep in between with a cheap junkie brush! It was impossible to stay in between the lines because they were far too thin. We made the best of it and then used the glitter paint included in the kit to cover up any flaws. My granddaughter had lost interest in finishing it because it was too time consuming and didn't turn out well, so I had to assist her in completing it. br>The wood was of good quality, but the paint and brushes were far too inexpensive to do the job properly.
