The 6-year-old in my family In the year It was a huge hit with the old! Her interest in crafts such as these is not a new one for her. You can follow the simple directions, but if the child has never done one before, you might want to do one together first. We like to give them the materials and then see how they do as well.

Kids occupied for hours! I had our extended family over for Mother's Day, which included six children under the age of five. This was a very rainy day with the kids, so we needed something to entertain them. The kids were busy for quite some time making the beads animals for their mothers! Even the young boys made bead animals to give to their mothers on
The instructions were printed in black and white on one 8-inch by 11-inch piece of paper. The size of a 5x11 sheet of paper is. A black and white image of the animal was included with numbers that indicated which color beads were needed. In certain steps, the instructions were written in a way that required you to be able It was a little confusing since the directions did not show details step by step. In spite of this, one of the mothers demonstrated to the kids how to tuck the rope ends into the sides of the beads using her experience. There should be an image or diagram for this step, since it was very confusing. Although the kids were busy creating critters for hours after the demonstration, they did not stop after the demo.
As a first side note, this craft kit is rather overpriced for what you get, which is a few beads and some fasteners with some silk cord. If I had gone to a craft store, the cost would have been $5-$10. When I bought this, I thought it would contain detailed instructions about how to make these things, so I thought it would be worthwhile. The kit doesn't come with detailed instructions, only a picture of the finished keyrings with a shadow of a smooth silk string. This made my 9 year old cry, so we googled how to make one together. A string was created but the beads and string slipped off. The string is too thin and slippery for the wide holes in the There is no need to purchase it, it is not worth the money.
Unfortunately, the clips were missing, the box was beaten up when it was delivered, and the directions were unclear. Since the tie off instructions were not very good and the silky cords were difficult to tie in a way that wouldn't slip out of place, I added some glue to the knots to hold them in place. In order to make the cat first, we had to cut 5 feet of string. The total amount of string we had left after the task was completed was 2 feet. I feel like this kit is really good in concept, but I don't recommend it due to the lack of clips and the vague directions. It's possible that there's a product similar to this that would be more advantageous.
You have a hard time following the instructions. Regardless of the project's length, it never details how to tie it off! There were two knots on either end of the rope, but it is unknown for how long those will last. In the end, we made the penguin since the instructions were not clear on how to make the wings. Additionally, I think it would be useful if there was a tape measure included. The string was very difficult to measure out with the three rulers we had. You will find that it's a very fun craft once you learn how to do it right! Once you know how to do it, it is easy and enjoyable.
I liked the concept, but it was unclear how it should be done. The picture was simply a picture of the animal with some unclear squiggly lines overlaid on top. I am not able to understand anything.
I love how it turned out. It took me about six minutes to show the twins how to do it, and then they could do it on their own. There was more I could do to help my 5 year old. In the beginning we made simple designs such as a ladybug and penquin and worked our way up to more intricate designs like a butterfly. This sounds like something that kids would enjoy making as ornaments during Christmas time. It was easy to follow the instructions to start it, but it did not mention how to tie it off. It is stronger if I tie it in a simple knot and use a lighter to melt it together.
A Christmas present for a boy who is 10 years old. There is a lot of interest in the book. did not follow any of the color suggestions but still had enough beads in the kit, plenty of materials, and we had an easy time following the instructions.
It is a recipe I had made when I was a kid and I wanted to make it with my kids but this thing almost made me throw up Temper tantrums are reserved for grown adults. This is a terrible set of instructions. You are given a white and a black string and then you are given instructions in black and white. Sorry for the misunderstanding here, but thanks for making it clear. This is not stated how this should "end" and how everything should be secured. This is one of those projects I would spend an extra few dollars on if they would put more effort into the instructions to make it more enjoyable. I honestly do not think most six year olds could complete it.
