A writing board was available to me when I was young. If you like was pleasantly surprised by its size when it arrived considering that I clearly did not pay attention to the size of this board when I ordered it. I like how there are different colors to choose from. Back when I was a kid, I had a writing board, but it was plain black, so the variety of colors makes it With the old board I used when I was a kid, you had to move the slide back and forth several times to clear a page, but the new eraser works easily and erases everything with just one swipe. I find the board to be just as useful as the one I used in the past. However, the plastic it is made out of doesn't seem to be so strong that I would drop it on concrete or something similar. For quiet activities like drawing in the car or other places, it gives my children hours of amusement, and they love them. I am not sure if it will hold up to hitting something hard, but for drawing in the car, it works great.
