YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A KID TO ENJOY THIS! In addition to me buying one for my daughter and her three children, I also purchased one for my niece. In general, it's a good organizer for days, weeks and the whole month in general. It's a colorful display of our plans for the upcoming days, weeks and months in general. Having come up with this brilliant idea, we are completely smitten. The fabric is absolutely beautiful, and I hung my on the fridge so I could see it daily. It is difficult to find mini magnets to fill in the gap. Do you know if there is a way to order replacement tiles or duplicates for doctors, birthdays, anniversaries, and other holidays not covered by the subscription?.
This calendar is lovely, and I bought it from a different store for my daughter, who loved Because I was in need of a gift, I quickly took advantage of the convenience of Prime and purchased another one. Upon arrival, it was the previous year's model, so it covered the years 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, whereas my daughter's time frame was between 2020 and There is a small issue, but I was frustrated because the photo said "2020", and I assumed it meant more recently updated. It also served as an incentive for the child to use a device one year less.
My kindergartener is using the magnetic calendar I bought. Giving him a better idea of the days, months, When I tell him he has soccer twice a week and games on Saturday, he only has enough tiles to cover both days. The only tile is for one event maybe it could be somewhat customizable, like instead of having pre-stickered magnet tiles, you could have received a sticker sheet that had 3 or 4 stickers of one event plus additional magnet tiles you can use to put your own event on. The calendar appears to be oriented more toward a weekly schedule instead of a monthly one. The simple fact that this does meet the basics of what a monthly calendar looks like is reason enough to recommend it. If you're looking for something a little more elaborate, I'd recommend buying a dry erase calendar and buying magnet strips and making your own from there.
It is a great resource I use daily with my preschoolers despite the pieces being quite small. There are holiday and special day magnets, as well as seasons and other themes you can choose from! This is a great product and I recommend it highly. To keep all the magnets out of sight, I rubber band the back of the calendar so only the calendar part is displayed.
While this is a fun and colorful product, it might be too busy for some children on the autism spectrum. My daughter is autistic. I did not notice any difference in my daughter's behaviour because of this. It seems she has responded well to the pictures and has been able to increase her months without any help from me. It is a great board for creating puzzles, and the structure allows for pieces to be easily stored when not being used.
My son is 3 years old, and I bought him this for him. Her constant question to know what day it is tomorrow and what that means is to make her feel better. Some 3 year olds may not be able to handle this lesson, but most of them will eventually reach a reasonable level. To mount it on the wall, we used a 3m hook. Her favorite part is that she can help place the colorful magnets on the right days, and she loves that she can put them there herself. It is a good thing that the magnets hold. It is possible to choose from a wide array Ideally we'd like more blank tiles, but for now we write things on the calendar with dry erase markers if they don't have a tile. Right now we keep it low enough so that she can reach it easily. As the little one gets mobile, we will be able to hang the swing.
She visits it almost every day after the novelty There are so many magnets that she loves (and wishes there were more). Every time someone comes over to visit, she shows them her calendar The result is something to be very proud of - In addition to numbers, holidays, and days of the week, he's learning about communities and holidays. There were some reviewers who mentioned they would like to see more years in the book than the current one. Their request has been met the company will provide magnets for the next two years Whenever I make a purchase, I feel good about supporting a company I believe in.
I really wanted this for my kid's 3rd birthday since he becomes obsessed with the weekend and wants to see a calendar if we try to tell him the weekend isn't around the corner. There is no doubt that he He loves it because it's perfect for his little hands. The pictures are very clear and easy to understand for a non-artist. A great way to get kids thinking about time and schedules is through the use of a reader. When he's a little older, he likes to put tiles on the square for each day of the week and also to talk about the names of the I think this is cute. There is only one con the plastic twine you use to hang the calendar is pretty flimsy, so I don't know if it'll hold up for the entire In those cases, it would be very easy to replace with another type of hanger.
