In general, it's a good organizer for days, weeks and the whole month in general. It's a colorful display of our plans for the upcoming days, weeks and months in general. Having come up with this brilliant idea, we are completely smitten. The fabric is absolutely beautiful, and I hung my on the fridge so I could see it daily. It is difficult to find mini magnets to fill in the gap. My kindergartener is using the magnetic calendar I bought. Giving him a better idea of the days, months, When I tell him he has soccer twice a week and games on Saturday, he only has enough tiles to cover both days. The only tile is for one event maybe it could be somewhat customizable, like instead of having pre-stickered magnet tiles, you could have received a sticker sheet that had 3 or 4 stickers of one event plus additional magnet tiles you can use to put your own event on. The calendar appears to be oriented more toward a weekly schedule instead of a monthly one. The simple fact that this does meet the basics of what a monthly calendar looks like is reason enough to recommend it. If you're looking for something a little more elaborate, I'd recommend buying a dry erase calendar and buying magnet strips and making your own from there.

It is a great resource I use daily with my preschoolers despite the pieces being quite small. There are holiday and special day magnets, as well as seasons and other themes you can choose from! This is a great product and I recommend it highly. To keep all the magnets out of sight, I rubber band the back of the calendar so only the calendar part is displayed.

While this is a fun and colorful product, it might be too busy for some children on the autism spectrum. My daughter is autistic. I did not notice any difference in my daughter's behaviour because of this. It seems she has responded well to the pictures and has been able to increase her months without any help from me. It is a great board for creating puzzles, and the structure allows for pieces to be easily stored when not being used.

My son is 3 years old, and I bought him this for him. Her constant question to know what day it is tomorrow and what that means is to make her feel better. Some 3 year olds may not be able to handle this lesson, but most of them will eventually reach a reasonable level. To mount it on the wall, we used a 3m hook.
