Questions & Answers
Yes, everything you'll need is included.
Although this kit comes with ten rocks, you can also use rocks from your own yard.
Hand soap and water or dish soap will suffice. The fact that the kid wears gloves is far superior to anything else.
The rocks were, in fact, perfectly smooth. I really enjoyed this!

This was a gift for my granddaughter, who is one year old. We were ecstatic to be working on a new project. We had gone rock hunting before and had learned everything we needed to know, but the rocks were so disappointing. They are not at all smooth; they are large and bulky, and they do not resemble the picture on the box. In fact, painting them or using stencils on them was nearly impossible. I'm sorry, but I don't think this product is worth your money.
The rocks inside were small, rough, and jagged, which made it difficult to paint or lay down the transfers. The fact that rocks are everywhere is the only saving grace, so I guess we'll have to go find our own. I'm disappointed and believe that showing these smooth rocks on the box, which appear to be polished, is misleading advertising!.
We followed the transfer instructions to a tee, but it didn't help! Most designs required the use of black paint, which was not included. Only two brushes were available, both of which were of poor quality. This is a kit that I would not recommend.
The only positive aspect of this product was the speed with which it was delivered; however, the rocks were sharp edged gravel chunks rather than the rocks depicted. Due to the lack of flat sides, the decorations were unable to adhere. The same gravel chunks could have been found in the driveway. It's a huge letdown for kids who wanted to hide their painted rocks.
These sets came in twos, which I purchased. One is for my soon-to-be-9-year-old daughter's upcoming birthday, and the other is for my 4-year-old cousin. This set was requested by both of them. I was concerned about the quality after reading reviews and seeing some difficult-to-paint-looking rocks, so I decided to open them both up ahead of time in case I needed to return them. Both of these sets came with really nice-looking rocks, which was a pleasant surprise. There are two bags included in each set. & All four bags appear to be in good condition and are well-made. Both sets were captured on film. As far as I can tell, the paint in the pens and cups hasn't dried out, but I'll update once my daughter receives the set and has the opportunity to paint her rocks. I did inspect each paint item for bubbles or dried spots, but they all appear to be in good condition from the outside. I wouldn't have given either of these sets as gifts if they weren't of good quality, so I'm glad I can do so knowing that everything appears to be as advertised. br>br>I'll take more photos once my daughter finishes painting them, but I hope these images of the sets themselves give you a sense of what to expect.
Two of them were nice flat river rock that was easy to paint, but the rest looked like they had been picked up from my gravel driveway. Because it was impossible to get any kind of picture on these, the kids quickly lost interest. There should be twice as much paint because the small tubs aren't big enough to hold half as many stones. That was a huge disappointment.
Who'd have guessed that a few rocks and some paint could be so much fun? My niece, who is four years old, and I 6) They had a lot of fun making these. Placing the tattoos on the rocks was our favorite part. We simply grabbed more outside once we had used all of the included rocks, and we plan to leave them out for others to enjoy!.
