The smells in their room are as much of a pleasure for my kids as Here are some small crayons I got to brighten their homework a little As a migraine sufferer, the scents are overpowering, but the kids love them, so I put up with them. Likewise, the Smencils sharpen just as well as ordinary As well as regular pencils, smencils have a stick that feels as firm and as easy to grip as a regular pencil. As well as the erasers, they are very effective. Despite my purchase being a bit pricey, I am pleased with it. Having these around seems to be fun for the kids. A. LATEST UPDATE We have been using the Smencils for quite some time now-two semesters-and while we have not found any problems with them, there is still room for improvement. It is first observed that erasers are significantly more inclined to wear out quickly than the tubes used to store the pencils (in order to keep the scent fresh) aren't large enough to store eraser caps, so this is a problem. For the Thord, the metal eraser fittings (I'm not sure it's called that!) loosen and fall off - sometimes even before the erasers wear out. Metal is really soft, so once the fitting falls off, you aren't able to put it back on because of the bends and distortions that prevent it from fitting the pencil back into the same hole it was in before. In spite of these issues, we still like the pencils a lot. The eraser issue would be greatly appreciated if it could be resolved!.

It seems that root beer is not available. Root beer was in here, I thought. My erroneous assumption proved to be These were purchased at my son's school once a year because they sell them. With COVID not so much. Well, on Amazon, they cost a bit more. But I guess this is because the school probably buys them in volume at a discount and then sells them for a dollar each. I am a little disappointed, however, as they don't seem to be It turns out that the root beer he prefers to be in here does not exist. A 10 pack of the original was purchased by me. The other option I found was the Halloween five pack. The two I have smell like a corpse, so they must have been meant to do that. However, perhaps they have been sitting around for a long time, since they are not as strong as they used to be. Added the springtime 5 pack to the order. Due to the fact that they are made from recycled newspaper rather than wood, pencils sharpen so, so well. I learned that even with an American-made brand, the result is only half of what I expected There is too much luck in getting a pencil with grainy or splintery wood that simply won't sharpen well, even with the best made wooden pencils. This is not the case with Smencils, which sharpen exceptionally well. Children also enjoy picking out a special scented pencil they like, and they will hang on to it for a long time because they enjoy It's much harder to replace Yellow Wood pencils between Smencils and yellow wood pencils due to the yellow wood ones going missing much more frequently. I think there has only been one Smencil gone missing in the past Almost all of them get used to all of the components of the eraser after a while.

Specifically, I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter in order to have the root beer flavored pencil. This package had cola instead of root beer, despite 1 of the 10 scents mentioned in the description.

A strong smell emanates from the room. It makes sense to buy scented items when they have a nice scent. Those scents never go unnoticed, and they still smell wonderful for a long time afterward! Moreover, they come with erasers, which makes them a great choice. One negative aspect is that they smell a lot when you use the pens, haha, but hey, at least they don't moan as much when you tell them to take their pencils out!.

There are no special pencils in this set. It wasn't apparent that they would be colored when I read the description before purchasing. It's not their fault, but it's OK. It was my fault. There is nothing better than the smell of them! It's just that they're a little unsightly. My first impression was that they look very odd (you can tell they are made from recycled paper), but after I got over the initial look, I realized they are quite cool. As a result of the lack of plastic wrapping around the majority of the pencil, they sharpen much better than a pencil with the plastic wrapping. As well as being made of recycled paper, I appreciate how sturdy they are. This pencil writes well and is a real quality pencil. The next time I buy, I'm going to get it.
