As the packaging indicates, a 7 year old boy would like this, although its primary focus seems to be on young girls in the "tween" years. The 11-year-old granddaughter of my niece uses this type of duct tape for making things since she was a young girl.
An eight-year-old girl just turned ten years old, so I bought this for her. In the past year, she has used printed duct tape in a creative manner with a group of friends. With the help of their parents, I think children as young as eight will enjoy using this. Despite his ten years old age, he enjoyed this present.
I thought this was a great gift for my granddaughters age 10, 12, 15 years. The duct tape fashions, bracelets, hair barrettes, and wallets are still being made one year after their introduction!
The kit we ordered did not include magnets.

I am ok with this. A good variety of colored tape is available. She did it just fine. The only thing was that her friend was also making things with her and she wanted to make a purse while she wanted to make a As there is only one pattern they provide for you to stick duct tape to, you cannot have both. Whether you want to use it for the tote or the purse is up to you. Despite being pretty cute, my 11 year old didn't like it because it gave you plastic bracelets to cover with duct tape, instead of showing you how to make your own, as it showed how to make bracelets yourself.
Despite its usefulness and popularity, the packaging is extremely misleading - the contents could fit in a box almost 1/4th the size. I cannot approve or condone a company that has the ethics to think it's okay to deceive parents and by extension.
I received this gift from my grandaughter, who was thrilled with it. In one box, there are lots of fun things to do. You can give this as a birthday gift to your kids' friends at all those parties.
daughter, 9, received this kit for Christmas and it was one of the first things she played with and used the most. She has made many of the stuff in the kit and she has really enjoyed it, but the items are not something she has worn. In this sense, the fact that she enjoys making them is terrific, but it's unfortunate that we'll end up throwing them away over time. I would choose the Crazy Loom if I were a parent choosing between those two items.
Our granddaughter loves to craft, so I bought it as a birthday gift for her. She'll have a lot of fun with it, I think.
The gift I gave to my niece at Christmas seemed to make her happy when she opened it, but she didn't seem to like it much after that. After opening it, she played for a brief amount of time, but she did not even take it home with her. However, it was not the best gift ever, so it might be more useful to other girls.
I was surprised to see the 13 year-old grandson opening this and making a blue wallet immediately after he did. He has plans It was only a little disappointing that she used my sewing scissors and they were sticky. Make sure you have scissors ready that are not too special, just in case. I think it's a good kit and will generate hours of enjoyment for those who are interested in crafts!.
This is a present for my granddaughter who loves A gift for a preteen for her birthday will make her eyes big as the moon. She will be so happy when she opens it because she is so thrilled with all the video tapes inside. As a gift for a difficult to buy for person, this would be highly recommended.
