My weight is 200 pounds, so I don't need to worry about sitting on it while changing. I use it to store garden boots and shoes. This stool wouldn't serve as a seat, and it wouldn't serve as a stepping stool either.

As a number of reviewers have suggested, the parts aren't as easy to connect as suggested by some. Although I am older and have lost some of my snap, I feel the instructions did not provide me with enough illustrations of what they were trying to say, i. e. Step 4 left me frustrated for about 15 minutes as I struggled to figure out what it was trying to show me. It wasn't until after assembly that I realized this illustration could be interpreted in a variety of ways, and the interpretation I had chosen was wrong. Furthermore, perhaps the step itself should state, before adding the bottom to the upright box, "Place the bottom into the upright box until it reaches the bottom position, and then snap it into place. ". Finally, I would like to mention the following Despite what is written on the box, I do not believe it is weatherproof There is no mention of the proof in the Amazon description, as suggested by reviewers. Some places, particularly along the edges of 'snapped' together panels, are wide enough for a dollar to pass through the gap due to slight buckling of the plastic material. This is all- I think I am okay with this seat/storage since I purchased it as a means of cleaning up the patio area by storing a grill. The grilling area should be equipped with items related to grilling and a place to sit.
It was 2 years ago that I bought this exact storage deck box, so I decided to purchase a second one. I do believe this has to be done. Putting all pieces in place is as easy as snapping them together. found this easy to put together in just ten minutes, even at my age. A side table can be used as a bench, storage or an extra seat.

After attempting to locate this information for three weeks, I located someone who had it! However, the wood is quite nice. The construction of the wood is quite sturdy. The building process was very straightforward. Stays dry inside the bag even after being cleaned off.
