There is a lot more space inside this deck box than I anticipated. There's enough room inside to add four 20x20 by 2" thick love seat and chair cushions on top as well as an Adirondack chair cushion, four 20x20" throw pillows, two 16x16" throw pillows and four 20x20 by 4" thick chair cushions. Although it took me about 15 minutes to assemble, I deducted a star because the lid does not lay flat, either with a lock on it or with something heavy sitting on top of it. It rained in this deck box during the weekend when hurricane Joaquin moved up the east coast, but my cushions in this box still remained.

Could have done it by myself in 15 minutes or so The project only took me 20 minutes, and the chair is really roomy, with more than enough space to fit It'll be interesting to see how it does after the rain they're calling for this weekend. I love it! This bench is still in great shape! **Update*** This bench is still in great shape! One year later and I still can't believe how far you've come! Even after having left it out throughout the winter, it is in excellent shape. We get a lot of rain here, but when I take my outdoor cushions out, they never get wet! I give it a 5!.

When the product was first installed, the metal piece was missing from its screw hole or it had a defective location for the screw to secure it. Trying to return the whole thing was difficult as it is pieced together - which should snap together - but was difficult to do. The trouble in finding the defect It has not been possible to acquire it from the manufacturer so far. I sent Amazon a message requesting they contact the manufacturer, and they ignored it. I would not recommend it, a bad deal. Those parts were not broken and they wouldn't send them. When I emailed the manufacturer through the Amazon link, I did not even receive a response.

The update is Now that it is July 19, we have arrived at the end of the month. I have had the box sitting in my living room since June 1st because it has an unsecured lid and I am not allowed to leave it outdoors. Up to this point, I have only received the hasp and As you can see, the lift arms are back. As per Keter, I will not be able to find out how long they will take to arrive. The Amazon return window has long since passed (and the box has long been thrown in the garbage) so now I am stuck with this useless item. It would be really easy for me to buy one locally, swipe the parts, and return it, but because I was raised better than that, my conscience forbids me. The Keter products I have purchased in the past will never be purchased On June 7th, we had the following events A snap of a button snapped the box together. I noticed that there were six small holes at each end, so I think they're As a result, I believe it is not fully weather-dependent Wind can blow rain through the holes, but the holes are not fully waterproof. As much as I bought this for bug defense, I also bought it for weather resistance. I quickly decorate anything left on the ground with spider webs if I leave it for a day. seal out the holes with glue or caulk to prevent pests from living in them. When I tried to attach the lid, I realized I hadn't got any Hinges, latches, screws and all the metal were missing (includes hinges and latches). There was no risk of them falling out of the box because it was in good shape At the factory, they were not added. It said on a big piece of paper in the box not to return it if there were problems, call the number instead. It took me forever to get started. I stayed on hold for an hour. As I waited, I found the Keter website and let them know that the missing parts were missing, providing a list of parts by name and part number. It took less than an hour for me to hear back (after I hung up the phone for more than 20 minutes) saying the parts had been shipped and to let them know if there were any further issues. Within a couple of days (three working days is impressive), I received a package from Keter containing nothing but the two latch parts. In response to the email inquiry about the remaining parts (two hinges and ten screws), I sent a reply as instructed. I have not heard from them 24 hours later. Inquiring again, I received a response. A response has not been received. My next step was to go back to the website and fill out the form I used the first time to order I have not heard from them 24 hours later. The company's customer service score has dropped from a 10 to a 0 within three days. I was so frustrated that I went to the Amazon website to return the items, and one of the options was to contact Keter regarding When I clicked on the link, it took me to an entirely new area of the Keter website with an option to build my own If a part is missing, order it. As soon as I've complete that, I'll let you know how it goes. Therefore, the box itself will be given 4 stars, the missing parts will be given 1 star, and Keter customer service will be given The box will only go into service after the parts arrive. I'll give an update once the parts show up.

We are going to store our outdoor seating in two of these - If it's raining, put cushions on the floor to keep them dry. Assembling them was very easy and they snapped together like a dream. The only tool required to assemble some mechanical parts was a Phillips screwdriver. Gas is especially appealing to me There are springs on the lid that assist in opening & closing It's over. It has rained heavily on them several times now and they have lasted even through several months of heat and drought. As of yet, all the inside items have stayed dry. There have been some very hot weather spells here as well in the southeast PA area, and the lids haven't shown any signs We can hold all of our cushions in them nicely and I also had a little room left over to store a few tanks It would be good if I could get those out of the patio with sprayers. So far, I am very happy with this product.

Keter changed their manufacturing a while ago, I am not sure for what reason, but I have bought several of their storage boxes over the years and this certainly isn't the same quality as In this case, the edges are not neatly cut and are not There is a problem with the fit on the lid panels, which keeps it I would call it junk all around. As I return, my heart is filled with joy. Nonetheless, I will purchase a Suncast because they still make a quality product.

And yes, I did contact their customer service. The staff didn't seem to care at all!.
