How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

All of the panels have a tab and loop design that reduces the need for hardware and eliminates guesswork during assembly.
To save space, use the Wall Bracket Kit to raise your cabinet off the floor and onto one of our Gladiator Wall Systems.
When the cabinet door is closed, the extremely durable magnetic catch firmly holds it in place.
Steel cabinet panels, as well as heavy-duty Allen head bolt screws and back plates, provide a strong cabinet structure for long-term use.

Questions & Answers

Do you have these cabinets in a larger size, such as 30x30"?

Yes, but it's from the PREMIER line, which comes pre-assembled (rather than RTA) and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Is it possible to mount these cabinets to a block wall, and if so, would the mounting system sols be used separately?

I used the mounting system because I wanted to be able to slide and position them exactly where I wanted them. You can, however, mount them to the block by putting anchors in the wall.

Is it possible to fit two of these on one channel, or will I need two sets of channels?

The upper and lower tracks are also being used by us. Two cabinets will not be able to fit on a single track. The cabinets are 28 inches wide and 28 inches deep. The length of the track is four feet. On one end, we're going to use the endcap. You could put two tracks on one track, I suppose. We've got three cabinets on two tracks this time, with both upper and lower tracks being used.

How tall are the cabinet's shelves?

9 1/4 at the top, 8 1/2 in the middle, and 9 1/4 at the bottom are my exact measurements. There are built-in levels that can be lowered or raised 3 1/2 inches, so I can lower the bottom one to make more room in the middle and the top one to do the same. It is very simple to adjust the height.

Perfect
4/5

I almost bought six of these cabinets, as well as six RTA lower cabinets, for our new shop. They're simple to assemble, have a nice appearance, and appear to be durable. The only problem I had was with the installation, not with damaged items or shipping. For a cleaner look, we planned to mount these directly to the wall. The cabinets have holes that allow for stud spacing of 16" OC or 24" OC. The issue is that if you want to put the cabinets in a row, the hole spacing will prevent you from doing so, and you'll need to buy the gear track channel. Ugh, okay. It's a little grating. Then there's the fact that these cabinets only come with a single bracket for mounting to the channel. I attempted to chat with Gladiator after spending several hours researching and attempting to locate the additional bracket. It was estimated that I would have to wait 167 minutes. Okay, I'm starting to get irritated. I finally reached out to Gladiator, who informed me that while this cabinet only requires one bracket (which comes with it) for mounting on the channel, the cabinets still require two channels (top and bottom) to hang level. So, because I wasn't willing to open the wall and add additional support, I had to spend another $85 on the channels, and the cabinets will not be mounted directly against the wall, which leaves a space for dust/dirt and doesn't look as nice. Overall, I think it will be fine once we get these cabinets up, but the instructions should tell you everything. When we get them up on the wall, I'll post an update with a photo. br>NEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Cabinets are now all on the wall, and we love them; they look great and hold a lot of stuff, but as you can see in the second photo, they aren't hanging straight. I'll have to come up with a way to shim these. Although the installation continues to irritate me, the cabinets themselves are fantastic.

Very well-written- made cabinets for the garage wall These storage cabinets for the garage are fantastic
4/5

The assembly is straightforward and simple, and the metal thickness is more than adequate for most applications. I ordered two of these, and they were both in excellent condition when they arrived. Well- There are no scratches or dents on this item because it was well-packaged. Just make sure to carefully follow the assembly instructions: Leave all of the bolts loose until you've finished assembling everything (except the doors), and then make sure the cabinet is sitting flat before tightening the screws and bolts. To get the best results, start with the back panel and "X" tighten it. This ensures that the unit is perfectly square when finished. Before tightening the four screws that hold the doors in place, you can move them up and down a little to get them perfectly centered. br>br>I like how the bottom of these cabinets has an open channel with a plastic wire guide for electric cords to pass through. So, if you have a rechargeable drill, you can put it in the cabinet and connect the cord to an outlet through the cabinet bottom. My only complaints are as follows: br>br> 1) There is no way to secure the doors. 2) If you opt for the optional wall track hanging system, they include one rear mounting bracket. However, you'll need two of these brackets (one for the top and one for the bottom) if you don't want the cabinet to hang slanted against the wall. Instead of just one bracket, they should have used two. However, instead of using brackets or a wall track system, you can simply hang these directly on the wall. There are holes in the back for this purpose, so you can easily hang them on studs. (No, they don't provide any lag bolts for this;) At Home Depot, I found some 2" x 5/16" lag bolts with washers that worked perfectly. )br>br>Overall, these garage storage wall cabinets are fantastic. I'll most likely purchase a few more in the near future. They are, in my opinion, well-made. worth the price (which isn't bad when compared to other cabinets of the same type).

Cabinets are good, but shipping was a problem
4/5

I would buy from them again. I bought six of these for my garage to replace some older, less expensive cabinets, but I only gave it four stars because two of the units arrived heavily damaged, with the damaged areas taped over with Amazon tape. When I contacted customer service, they refused to help me unless I returned the damaged items so that they could inspect and verify my claim. I raised the issue with a manager and sent photos, and replacements and tags for the damaged units were delivered the next day. br>br>The cabinets are quite nice; however, I recommend leaving everything loose until all of the panels are in place, as this makes it much easier to line up and square. The instructions are written in a clear and concise manner. If you're planning a long-term installation, I'd suggest using a lock tite of some sort, as normal use and vibration could loosen the screws, which are only coarse thread machine screws I to sheet metal. I had ZERO issues after that. Excellent product.

Another fantastic (and lovely) Gladiator product, with excellent quality and function
5/5

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. It appears to be something from a high-end movie. luxury car garage with a high-end boutique. The fit and finish (tolerances) are excellent, but I must say - DURING ASSEMBLY, PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION. They have a TON of small tabs all over the place that lock into slots to secure the box, which is why the fit and finish is so good. If you miss even one of these (which is easy to do if you're not paying attention), something will fall out of place, and you'll end up with a bow somewhere. It was also the reason why my doors didn't line up properly at first. This happened to me several times on the side panels, because the tolerances are so tight that it's actually quite easy to get some in properly at the bottom while also accidentally dislodging others. br>br>To be clear, this isn't a criticism of the product; rather, it's a reflection of how well it's designed. This is why when it's all put together, it looks like a rock. Anyway, it took me twice as long to put it together as it should have because I didn't pay enough attention to the details when I was putting it together, and I had to take panels off and re-align them several times. It was a valuable lesson. I'm going to buy a few more because I like it so much.

It helps you save space
5/5

It works well; mine didn't have a way to lock it, but it stays shut thanks to the magnets. In a vehicle, I would not recommend it; instead, get the one that locks. I didn't use the mounting system; instead, I secured it to the sheetrock with toggle bolts, and it turned out to be very sturdy. I believe it gives the impression of a cleaner installation.
