The two aren't compatible, according to what I've read.
The Gladiator hooks are designed to work only with Gladiator slat walls. I hurt my pvc slatwall. Thank you. I hope this was helpful.
The same as the above item wasn't available at Lowes or Home Depot, and I picked it up for about 83 dollars, which I consider a great price. If you can find them on sale for that price, go for it! The item appears to be the same.
