It is true that the rails are screwed to studs and quite durable. An ideal hanger for gas trimmers is the long one.

However, we plan on adding more pieces soon to give our kids' toys and other items a place to live. To have everything so close to eye level does make a big difference. About 10 years ago, there were a couple of these heavily loaded with heavy tools (sledgehammers, axes, shovels, etc) in my old house. My impressions of the quality and durability of the product were very good. My wife and I ordered a bunch of them when we moved into our new house, then we pulled down the old ones and moved them. As of now, I have about 10 gear track walls plus another wall for gear tracks. The ladders, clothes hooks, and anything else you can think of are great storage solutions. I would not regret installing this system, even though they were not cheap. Apparently these are similar products from Rubbermaid and Kobalt, maybe a little cheaper, but I decided to stick with these based on my past It would be better if they made them a little longer so they could fit between studs.
A very easy to install unit, it looks great, and the variety of hook options is also very nice. My only complaint is the poor welds on the large J-hooks. I hung the first thing on my hook and the hook popped off.
