I can assure you that this bag is It was a good idea to test it first with a paper towel before we put in our important paperwork. Set the bag on the stove for 20 seconds or so after placing the towel in. A lot of smoke was coming from the bag, and you can see in the images how the paper towel was burning. Besides the bag getting damaged, you can also see that the strap is cracked. In less than 20 seconds, all of this occurred. In the end, I decided to test if it was water-resistant. Water is not a problem if the flap is kept In a zipper bag, water starts flowing into the bag as soon as it enters the zipper. As you can see from the photo, the paper towel is wet. The product I received is not as advertised and I will return it as soon as possible.
It takes up a lot of space to keep two lock boxes with important documents that my wife uses to store important documents. They're bulky, awkward to carry and hard to pack because they're so bulky. This bag was bought to assist me in consolidating everything, and I do regret not buying it sooner. In the pictures, you can see that the lock boxes are packed with a lot of items. It was easy to fit the contents of both boxes into the bag. There is a carrying handle and optional shoulder strap, which will make it easier to carry and more convenient to pack since it is just one item and a little more flexible than a hard metal box. Three fire and water proof document safes exist for me, but a flat 8 is not one of them. Not only does it make great storage for important papers, but also binders and photo albums the small bag can store passports and social security cards. I liked the fact that it is fireproof and water proof yet still lightweight, and I found it here. When I checked on the bag, I noticed it was missing the opposite piece of Velcro. Even though the flap could be secured, I was not able to zip it up. It was amazing that they got back to me on the same day (on a Saturday) after I emailed them and attached pictures. A new bag plus a refund was immediately sent to me after they apologized for the defective bag. MONDAY was the day I received my new tote bag! These are products that really stand by themselves, and I love a firm that stands behind them. The customer service was wonderful and I received a good bag to protect my important documents. I've never had such a great experience.
To keep track of our vehicle titles and other documents, we needed something. It seemed like a good idea, so I set it up next to our fire pit for a while. I was able to use it for years. Now I am more confident that our papers are safe.

It appears to be very well built, and although I cannot comment on its reliability (may I never have to test it in a fire), it does appear to perform well. A few recent fires in California have gotten a bit too close for comfort, so we realized from friends that the safe we were using couldn't keep us safe. What's the reason? As a result of a house fire, even if the safe itself didn't burn, the contents of every safe like ours did. In order to find a better option, I looked for others. I recommend this bag because it holds everything that was in our little safe, and it is rated for more fire resistance than our I wish we would never have to evacuate, but we can just grab a bag and leave! There is no longer any concern about leaving behind a large, heavy safe, and then hoping the contents are still in it or that the safe didn't burn down. My favorite bag, as odd as it may sound, and one I will definitely purchase more as gifts (when I have the opportunity to do so).
