The bag is made to hold lipo batteries and prevent them from catching fire. If you need to store important documents or other items, we suggest our "fireproof document bag." Our store also sells this fireproof document bag.
It was created with lithium batteries in mind. In this case, I keep a lot of batteries. If you charge and store lithium batteries, this is a must-have accessory.

I was able to place my 12"X5" battery diagonally and close the zipper.
This bag is flimsier than others I've purchased. (Different brand and site) ten years ago. So, while I wouldn't count on it as a safety net, it's better than nothing. When charging your LiPo batteries, place them here and keep them there. It's best to charge them on something that won't burn, such as bricks or cinder blocks (or a concrete floor), with nothing above it that can burn for 6 feet. br>br>It was inexpensive, but I believe I could have gotten something better for a higher price.
I was overjoyed when I discovered a case that could hold my 300w portable power station. I was apprehensive about having so much battery capacity from a low-quality source. I have the power station fully charged so that it will be ready in case of an emergency, but this increases the risk of battery problems. This case barely fits my unit, but it does, and it feels like it will keep a fire from spreading outside.
I like the bag because it is large enough to hold a lot of batteries. I don't take chances anymore after a battery fire nearly cost me my 46-foot sailboat. Also, this bag is fantastic. It is spacious and comfortable.
There are no instructions for how to use the product properly; for example, there is a "warning" printed on the bag that says "Ensure flap is sealed while charging" - there are no instructions for how to use the product properly. Because there is no other flap, I assume "flap" refers to the zippered top lid. When the bag is closed (i. e. completely zippered), how do you plug in the charger? Even with a product that appears simple and intuitive, more information is required when the goal is to prevent catastrophic loss, injury, or death as a result of a fire or explosion.
For when I travel, I bought this case to store my Abbott, a. k. a. St. Judes Medical, pacemaker home monitor. It protects the monitor and has space for a cell phone adapter and other small items. The fit is not just good but is 100% perfect. It certainly beats Abbott Labs' cardboard box. now makes available! br>Excellent product that can be used for a variety of purposes! br>Bob M. is a freelance writer who lives in New York City. Although (thankfully! ), the lipo bag appears to be of good quality. ) I haven't put it to the test with a battery fire, but it has more interior space than most other bags, which appear to be quite small in comparison.
