I like how it is bolted to the floor, has a deposit box, and we can change the lock combination if we fire someone. We have had no problems with them since we purchased them. They're roomy on the inside and can easily hold several bank bags (ours has four: one for change, one for money made on our soda/snack machine, one for holding check payments, and one for going to the bank) while still leaving room for other items. The safe is very nice. Because it can be lifted by a strong person, YOU NEED TO BOLTS IT DOWN. Make a criminal work hard just to keep your mind at ease!.
I will change the rating if the seller sees this and corrects it. My time to return has passed (which is fine). It had been about a year since I had been safe. It worked well and was the perfect size, but the keypad suddenly stopped working. I replaced the battery, but it still beeps at random intervals and does not respond to the touch pad, making the keypad useless and forcing me to use the back up key to gain access. Please let me know if I can replace the keypad or if you have any suggestions for how to fix it. I would give this safe 5 stars if it were taken care of, because it is otherwise perfect.
It's relatively simple to undo. assemble, set up, and run The only problem is that the programming doesn't seem to go away. What I mean is that every few days, I have to use the keys to get into the safe. I reset the codes, and it appears to be functional for the time being. It's a little grating. (***AND YES, THE BATTERIES ARE GOOD) I feel like the one at Sam's Club should have cost a few dollars more.
It worked fine at first, but after only 90 days, the keypad no longer opened the safe. You could enter the passcode without issue, but the signal to turn the handle would not be sent.
It really works. It's only a matter of stuffing it with cash, firearms, and valuables. Oh wait. All of them were taken by my ex-wife. br>It's a fantastic product that I'd buy again.
The wires on the keypad were shredded, there were no instructions, the keys were locked in the box, and the packaging was thrown away. br>br>The issue with this item being defective is the enormous amount of effort required to return it. Be careful who you buy from.
The keys did not come from within the box, nor did they come from outside. How am I going to use a security box that isn't secure?.
I ordered two for a business trip, and they arrived in two days! Excellent craftsmanship and prompt delivery! Excellent trader.
