No, you're not going to be able to do that. One of the numerous issues I have with it is this. Purchasing is not something I would recommend. The keypad makes a lot of noise. Plastic is used to make the faceplate. The battery compartment is also made of plastic, and the first time I opened it to put the batteries in it, it broke. The bottom of the safe does not have a cushion and is not smooth, so it will scratch a desk, nightstand, or whatever you put it on.

What do you press to open the door after you've typed in your code?

Is it able to withstand the heat of a fire?

I planned to keep my EDC firearm safe in this safe. I double-checked the safe several times to make sure it locked and unlocked properly. Here's the strange part: I tried the "lock-up" method. ten times the unlock procedure This safe was "locked" six times out of ten times. In reality, the door could be opened by simply pulling on the knob that sets and retracts the door's two bolts! THAT IS A 60% FAILURE RATE, FOLKS! Honeywell needs to investigate these safes to see if my safe was defective or if all units of this model were defective, so I returned it to Amazon. The Honeywell model 5601DOJ safe was purchased in its place. I completed my testing and am pleased to report that the safe performed perfectly 100% of the time. My advice to anyone purchasing a safe is to test the safe many times to Guns and valuables should be kept in a secure location. as well as preventing unauthorized access to the contents of your safe.

It's small and spacious, which is exactly what I needed for storing important items. I'd buy another if I needed one, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a small, low-cost safe. It's also not overly heavy. It just gives the impression of being heavier than it is. The instructions are crystal clear, and the setup was a breeze. After three days, I locked my belongings in the safe, which refused to open. Because nothing worked (the code/keys), I had to use a crow bar to open the door and retrieve my jewelry. Amazon, on the other hand, was extremely accommodating when it came to the return.

This was purchased to fit in a small cubby with a door and it performs as expected. I just wanted something to keep the kids away from the easy money, nothing more and nothing less. That is what it is for. We have a different safe for storing large sums of money and other valuables because this one is not fireproof. This account is primarily used for weekly grocery money and allowances.

For the money, this is a good safe

This is my second safe, which I have installed in a recreational vehicle. Watch a video on YouTube to learn how to open it if it's unsecured or doesn't have a shelf above it. I wouldn't put my entire life savings in it, but it's fine for storing documents or cash. To avoid pounding on the top to open it, simply bolt it down and place a shelf above it.

This is an excellent safe! It's tough and has two bolts, which is fantastic. The only drawback is that you can't turn off the beeping sound that occurs when you press the keypad to open the safe.

This was purchased to keep medications out of the hands of inattentive children. So far, everything has gone smoothly. I particularly like the round key, which makes picking it more difficult. The only thing I wish I had done differently was to get a larger one, but that is entirely my fault.
