I was only able to fit $4 in my bag. 9M. Unfortunately, it falls short; to fit all $5 million bills, I'd recommend printing $500 bills.
I'm not sure what the manual said, but when the batteries are low, you'll be notified by a warning light or a beeping noise. Replacing the batteries is simple--just follow the instructions in the manual. The battery drawer simply slides out from the side of the keypad, making it simple to replace the batteries. So, yes, the batteries are changed from the outside of the safe.
The way these safes are listed on Amazon is a little confusing, and the answers may or may not correspond to the model you're interested in. The model SFW123FUL, which I recently received, can be bolted to the floor, but the hardware is not included. The hardware is not included and must be purchased separately. The screws, washers, and anchors required to secure this safe to a floor, on the other hand, are very affordable and can be found at any big-box store. a big-box hardware store Sentry Safe's representative was the one who told me what parts I needed, and he was on the phone in under a minute: Two 3/8" x 4" lag screws, two washers, and two masonry anchors (I'm bolting down to a concrete slab). It's a little annoying that Amazon doesn't make a clear distinction between what one model of safe comes with and what another does, but Sentry's customer service is excellent.
Yes, the shelves can be removed and repositioned. The safe comes with only one shelf, but additional shelves can be purchased if more are required.

If it were possible, I would give it a one-star rating. Do not purchase this safe because you will be unable to use it unless you pay SentrySafe additional funds. I called the customer service number because I couldn't figure out how to set the combination on this safe. I was told that I would have to pay $25 online or $35 over the phone in order to obtain the combination. Unfortunately, the safe has devolved into a cumbersome box that must be discarded. I'm not going to buy another SentrySafe product ever again.
It worked perfectly for 30 days (during which time I only opened it four times). )br>3 months later, I couldn't open it just hours before I needed my passport from inside it, and customer service was closed. After entering the code, I found a solution on the internet that showed me how to hit it with a mallet - Apparently, this is a well-documented issue for these safes with a simple solution. For the record, a call to SentrySafe later revealed that this is something they actually recommend! (Something about a jammed door comes to mind. ) )br>Fast forward to today, when I needed to get into it again, and I worked on it for an hour to get it open. SentrySafe said they would only replace it, not refund it, and that the "hit it with a mallet" feature is only for older models and shouldn't work on this model because it isn't a problem. (Did you notice what I said there?) )br>They said it was impossible because they don't sell on Amazon when I told them I bought it from them on Amazon. Instead of returning the safe, I'm going to use the insurance on my credit card to get a full refund and go out of my way to tell everyone about how bad this safe is. br>Have a look around, people - This isn't the kind of safe you want to have to deal with. A few Google searches for "X model safe won't open" could have saved me a lot of time and effort, and it's something I'll definitely do with the next one I get.
Product was damaged, and it was difficult for me to return it because it was so heavy.
I bought two of them so far. The experience was identical both times. The safe isn't going to open. br> br>I requested help from SentrySafe several times. There will be no live assistance available. On hold. This item should not be purchased. br>br> br>br>"Beyond Disappointed" was my experience.
In January 2018, we purchased this safe. Up until today, everything was fine and dandy. August of the following year (after a period of 20 months). It was impossible to open the safe. I entered the code correctly, and the safe made a noise, but it wouldn't open. After doing some research on the internet, I discovered that the internal motors and gears can break down. The recommendation - To try to jar the solenoids and open the safe, hit it with a rubber mallet. That, thankfully, worked. But now I refuse to close the safe because I'm afraid that whatever is inside will be lost forever, or at the very least, will necessitate a costly locksmith visit. I plan on purchasing a non-alcoholic beverage. This time, I'm going to keep it electric safe, and I strongly advise you to do so as well.
It's a hefty piece of equipment. This makes it extremely difficult for crooks to get away with it. The handle is made of flimsy plastic, and I'm afraid it will break one day. That's about it. It's a rock-solid product that delivers on its promises. The fact that it came dented is my biggest complaint. Crushed in on the top right back corner. I'm a disabled veteran with a severe back problem. knee. It took a lot of effort and pain to get this to my second-floor apartment and unbox it. I don't want to return it because it will be excruciatingly painful for me to carry it back down the stairs, repackage it, and then carry the replacement up the stairs. It's a little beat up, but it'll get the job done. As a result, I'm going to have to put up with it. However, I do wish that this was packaged better for delivery truck transportation. The photos clearly show that they were taken just after taking it out of the box (styrofoam bits still cling to it).
It had a dent in it, but it was still functional. We were unable to open the safe due to the lack of paperwork. I contacted the Sentry Safe Company, who were extremely helpful. They sent me the electronic code to open the safe after I proved beyond a reasonable doubt that I was the owner of the safe through a secure mode of communication. Amazon offers great deals on tons of bargains at their wear house site, and they are proud of the quality of their product and provide excellent customer service.
So now that I've purchased two of these, I'll be able to rate them twice!br>br> The first was in my house for about 3 hours before the combination was accidentally locked inside just as we were starting to put important documents inside (completely my fault; my wife enjoyed pointing and laughing). SentrySafe has a procedure where you can call in, give them the serial number, and they will give you the combination, but these safes are far too inexpensive - I needed a locksmith because they didn't have serial numbers. He gave it a quick glance and gave me a price of $50. He spent about two hours brute-forcing his way to the top. He was surprised, and I was surprised, when he finally got it open. After a year, safe 2 is still going strong (this time with the combination written down in a couple of discrete locations OUTSIDE of it).
