With 2 keys and 2 programmable codes, it can be used for multiple purposes. A safe that looks and feels strong will not be easy to open like some people on YouTube do to crack open a There is a cover over the reset button on the inside, so you cannot just press the button for the code by going through the back hole with a coat hanger. My personal opinion of this safe is very favorable, and I To test the mechanism, I took this safe apart and inspected the spring holding the locking mechanism. I was struck by how strong it is and how well it holds the locking mechanism. Unlike youtube videos that show how to open these kinds of safes by hitting hard from the top, you cannot open this type of safe/hack into it. You will like it if you buy.
After having to replace my old safe of 10 years I have come to realize that you can break into this safe. Someone was stealing my son's medication, and I have been trying to figure out who was doing it when I caught them. This safe will not keep addicts out. You must I have had to replace the safes batteries three times since I got it a month ago, because they keep dying. No warning light or sound to indicate the batteries are dying I replaced my old safe which had this issue 5 years ago and it was fine for 5 years so how is it I replaced a 5yr old safe with a new one trying to fix the same issue and it is already broken.
A SET OF OVER RIDE KEYS were locked inside by the installer. I asked the customer service rep how to open the unit. A SIMPLE ANSWER, I did not get one.
I started by attempting to get an idea of what the inside dimensions might It is only possible to lock the door from the inside due to a mechanism. The last sentence stands out quite a bit here. My best estimate is that the dimensions are 12" wide x 5" deep x 7" high (when the door is closed). It's not a big safe, but then again it's not much of a Taking into account its size (a swag), the door opening seemed to be about 1. 85 feet wide. The size of this picture is 375" by 7". If the item I have is longer than 75", it will need to be angled to fit inside the opening. Mounting is available, as stated in Amazon's description. It is possible that the hardware supplied will need to be enhanced depending on your actions. A round shaft on each of two keys inscribed with four numbers was found in this safe. Inscriptions were found on the holes the key fits into during the last three steps. The types of information on keys and locks may differ. I do not know if keys contain standard information or if each lock has a different code. As I plan on purchasing this safe again in the near future, I will be able to update this review then. Another user may also be aware of this information and can enlighten me regarding it. The setting of the codes was mainly straightforward. The Reset button has a cap on it in order to prevent accidental pushing of it when If you key in the combination, it will be noticeable. I am unable to provide an estimate of how long the battery lasts. Based on what I've seen, it definitely depends on how the user uses the keypad. On the whole, I was impressed with the quality of the safe. The item is definitely one I would recommend.
the safe after purchasing a $17 safe from Amazon and feeling completely unsatisfied with it, it was a complete waste of money. Since the safe was going to cost $17, I decided to step it up a little and it works just fine for a small safe at home. Certainly, if someone wanted to get in it, they could - but it deters messes, it's sturdy and decently heavy too, so you don't have to worry about people taking your stuff. 1 - An annual update is provided In spite of the passing of ten days since the end of the year, the safe continues to operate properly. There is one thing I would recommend though, do not use the battery kits provided by the company, use high-quality batteries that will last a long time instead. They gave me dead batteries after I received my watch, and, while I at first had no problems with the keypad and my PIN, after I had to change the batteries, I no longer could access my watch. The new PIN setting also caused problems for me. Consequently, I had to make use of the factory PIN reluctantly. A few days later, my old PIN started working again for some reason. I hope that this never happens again to you or to anyone else but do yourself a favor and buy high quality batteries the first time. In the past two weeks, I've had it for about two weeks and it was very easy to install, the keypad works well. I hid the keys someplace easy to find and just use them to get in, as I have to use it every day as I keep medicine There is nothing particularly wrong with it it just seems like the handle is a bit flimsy, but it just seems a bit cheaply made for the price. My point might be more clear if I say that I made it. It doesn't seem like it will break off any time soon, but when you turn it, it does not feel as premium as it should since the rest of the safe is built with better materials. The good products, avoid spending less than 40 bucks on a safe, if you really want the piece of mind, you should at least spend that much, those cheap safes for $15 or $20 are exactly that, don't waste your time I returned mine 10 minutes after receiving.
Several personal issues require the medication and other household items to be locked up. I was very excited about this. My little plastic thing broke when I tried to insert batteries into the back of the digital pad and it makes it impossible to use batteries. Thus, I can never use the digital pad. In the second case, the pad did not work even after putting the batteries in it. This whole thing broke the minute I touched it. I was puzzled. Almost all of the inside of the door is made out of thin and very cheap plastic. At this point, it's essentially useless as a paperweight or garbage. Since I keep them high up out of reach, I decided to keep them and use the key feature. The purchase of this is absolutely not a wise choice if you seriously need to have something dry, fireproof, or safe. They are so expensive I can't believe it. You should be careful when buying.
