This company provides no customer service, and I have ten of them in my stores. Unfortunately, I can't find the keys, and the password isn't working, so I sent several emails to see if a replacement key could be obtained. After several weeks, there has been no response.
This safe seems to be underappreciated and underreviewed in my opinion. This is something I bought for my small business and I really like it. I'd imagine that using it on a daily basis for the past couple of years would put a strain on anything that could go wrong. Knock- I haven't had any issues so far, thanks to Wood. The slot is great for quick drops, and the key functions well with minimal effort; the available space is more than enough for me, and I would highly recommend it.
BUY THIS SAFE AT YOUR OWN RISK. br>Update: SIMPLY GRAB THE KNOB WITH VISE GRIPS AND PULL, THE KNOB COMES RIGHT OFF AND EXPOSES THE INTERNAL LOCKING MECHANISM ALLOWING YOU TO OPEN IT WITH A SCREWDRIVER IN LESS THAN 90 SECONDS. What a piece of junk; it only opened once a day and the lock knob broke after six months. What a waste of $115; now we can't even get to the contents or remove it because it's bolted to the floor from the inside; zero customer service; no one answers the phones; voicemails are all full; THEY DO NOT HONOR WARRANTY; THEY NEVER EVEN RESPOND; stay far away; there are far better options out there.
It's a good way to catch the end of shift deposits, and it's secure enough that breaking into it would be quite noisy. It's great for the price and temporarily holding a few hundred dollars or possibly up to $1500. Employees add up their totals and deposit their cash in the safe. It's a fantastic tool for us because it allows us to keep track of our cash.
There are two places where you can bolt this down. The safe's bottom wall and its back wall. This ensures that escaping with the safe will be more difficult. br>br>The safe is sturdy and well-made, with two keys and two user codes for entry. There is also a drop box where cash-filled envelopes can be deposited.
The lock and installation were both flawless. It is a good deal.
Make sure you don't throw your money away. Pick a different path.
I had to open and close l with a key.
