My second pair of these gloves will be the 850s. These gloves are good for the price. As for my first pair, I pretty much cooked them. The frontal side has some insulation so the backside will be fairly insulated too, although it will transfer heat fairly quickly. Nonetheless, I will continue to use these until I cook them, at which point I will purchase another pair.
Even though these gloves are very comfortable and well-fitting, they are not the best for protecting against heat. I will still consider them for my next pair of shoes. In addition to MIG and stick welding, I use them for other purposes.
Welding gloves that are the best.
My favorite gloves are a little bulky on your hands, but once you get used to them, you'll never go back. If you have to or want to be right up against the point with your hand, these gloves are a must have. These gloves take a lot of heat, but when they get too hot they begin to shrink quickly, so I recommend wetting them before prolonged use or if you anticipate.
Comfortable and just the right thickness, these gloves are just what I have been looking for. It feels great on and provides excellent protection.
