So, I purchased this harness because the ones provided by the company are uncomfortable and difficult to adjust and put on. Let me start by saying that you should disregard the reviews about it not being comfortable and about the belt; the belt is useless except for lower back support, so I ditched it right away; however, the main harness is great if you know how to properly adjust a harness for your torso and size; I saw a few reviews that said "it keeps falling down," but that's because they don't know how to adjust it properly. I've tried much more expensive harnesses, and while they were slightly lighter, that was about it. If I ever needed another, I would definitely purchase one. The green locked indicator on the locking clips adds a nice touch, and it's easy to get in and out of as needed. I hope this clears up any doubts you may have if you're still on the fence.
There are far too many flaws in the design. Because the belt is not attached to the harness, it is of no use in terms of safety. Plus, even if you add tool holders, bags, and other accessories to the belt, the weight is still distributed evenly across your hips. The padding that goes over the shoulders isn't attached to anything other than Velcro loops around the shoulder straps themselves, allowing for movement and bunching of the padding. It's extremely uneasy. As an ironworker, I wouldn't recommend this harness to anyone who spends 90% of their day wearing it as I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who spends 90 of their.
China received a prompt and courteous response. While it appears they either forgot or chose not to disclose this, this appears to be a very high-quality piece of equipment. If you do it well, don't feel bad about it. The belt and lumbar brace support alone are almost worth the price of admission; this entire harness appears to be a great value, and I hope it lasts a long time!br>The instructions state that it can be used for both repelling and fall assistance. I'm hoping I'll be able to drag gear with its connections as well (this isn't common, so it's not covered in the list of possible applications). I'd get it again, and I'm comfortable trusting my weight and life in this harness (at least during the initial fitting). If there are any changes, I will let you know. This is a true investment, and I am pleased with it!.
I can still use it, but the adjustment is completely maxed out. If you're my size, get a large; it's very comfortable, and the quick buckle connections make it simple to use.
It can't be beat for the price. incredibly relaxing! I felt safe trusting this harness with my life. If you need a harness, whatever the job, Warthog has the right one for you. Thank you, Warthog, for an outstanding product.
It's a significant improvement over the cheap harness I've been using for the past few years, but the only reason I gave it a 4 was because of the sizing. I'm 5'7" and 140 pounds, so I'm a medium to small size guy, but the small to large sizes are designed for giants. I had to swallow my pride and exchange it for an xs, but it was well worth the effort. br>After putting some tools on the belt, the biggest complaint is that the harness doesn't really hold them up well. br>The cheapest gardian is better. I'm pretty pissed that I bought this garbage just because it looked cool.
It's a very relaxing harness to wear. The padding is soft and does not press against your skin, and the belt and belt pad are also very comfortable. The harness is light, has soft straps, and is a little stretchy, but it isn't recommended for welding because the polyester fibers in the straps burn more easily than those made with less polyester. The high-visibility design is useful for jobs that require it, though it does not always comply with site regulations.
