Questions & Answers

Is this a movable shield or a fixed shield?

The shield not only flips up, but it also stays up until you remove it.

What country does this item come from? Thank you very much. ?

Another store that I recommend could be a better fit for those in need! Better quality at a lower cost. It's washable and reusable! I received the mask in ten days and was extremely pleased with it. There are always masks for sale there, which I purchase every time I go. > > > freefda. c0m

Is this face shield only intended to provide secondary protection? Is it also necessary to wear primary protective eyewear?

No, according to the findings, this faceplate is ninety-nine years old. Because the air divides around you as you walk, viral particles fall to the ground, this method is only 6% effective against viral aerosols. Under the shield, the viral particles don't float. As you walk, the force of the wind splits aerosols, which fall alongside you over time. You have a low risk of contracting the virus if you wear a mask with a faceplate, but you must wash your hands after removing the headgear and cleaning the faceplate.

Do you have any replacement headbands for the front of the helmet that catch sweat?

Parts replacement, I believe, is available. I simply removed the foam portion of mine so that I can wash it with soap and water without fear of the foam becoming wet.

Lincoln Electric's OmniShield Faceshield excels in terms of function, comfort, and value
5/5

I purchased the OmniShield from Amazon to use for a variety of tasks that would otherwise necessitate the use of a cloth facemask. br>br>The OmniShield is as comfortable (if not more so) than a bike helmet. It's extremely light, and it's fully adjustable so you can get the perfect fit. br>br>The shield glides up and down smoothly. br>br>I spent a little more money and got the anti-virus software. The OmniShield is a fog and scratch-resistant shield that I believe is well worth the money in every way. br>br>I strongly recommend it.

This makes me feel more secure in the face of the virus
5/5

People do not seem to mind if I wear it to the post office or the supermarket. One elderly lady inquired as to where I purchased it. They should each have one, in my opinion. One advantage is that it easily flips down and stays down when you're just walking around, and it easily flips up when you need to communicate with someone. I also wear a mask when I'm doing my makeup. Given the possibility of death as an alternative, it appears to be a good product.

My face has just been saved! This device has literally saved my life
5/5

A wire became entangled in the wood while I was chainsawing a tree. The blade reappeared and slammed into my left cheek with ferocity. A scratch has appeared on the shield. I'm fine, thank you very much. If it hadn't been for the face shield, I would have needed extensive reconstructive surgery.

Healthcare workers will benefit from this shield

Update: I've had to bring my shield out of retirement after more than a year. After numerous cleanings, drops, and covid patients, the shield has proven to be durable. The original shield is still in use by me. To personalize it, I've added a few stickers. It is still something I would suggest. br>br>I've been using this shield for about three weeks and I've got to say, it's fantastic. I work as an ICU nurse, caring for critically ill patients, and this shield provides peace of mind. It covers the entire face, is clear, and isn't too bulky to obstruct nursing care. It hasn't scratched yet, but I do my best to look after it. I keep the shield clear by using hospital antibacterial wipes (cavy wipes and bleach wipes). Because the wipes leave a residue, I clean it with soap and water after using them. There are numerous options for customizing it to your preferences. It's not too heavy, and I keep it on my head at all times in case I need to respond to a code. I suppose you can always get a replacement if the shield gets scratched, which is a nice perk. If you can find it in stock, I highly recommend it. I guess I was one of the fortunate ones who happened to come across it in stock. You will not be disappointed if you purchase one.

This is a great addition to my personal protective equipment
5/5

I am a registered nurse who provides CoVid patient care at the bedside in a hospital setting. I bought this face shield and am very glad I did. It's so comfortable that I don't have to worry about constantly adjusting it for comfort, and it's so simple to take off (when I need to put on a new n95 or a new isolation gown). The head strap has a dial in the back that allows me to adjust the size so that I can simply lift it off my head without it tugging on my bandana or ripping it off. Because it is durable, it is extremely simple to clean. The soft forehead and back of head pieces can be removed (I sweat a lot with all the PPE). It's simple to take off and clean. In addition, parts can be replaced if necessary.

Scratch resistant is a waste of money
4/5

I bought an anti-virus program. fog & I needed a scratch-resistant face shield because I was going to be cutting and grinding steel gate finials. In addition to what I already had, I needed face and eye protection. I took a break after a while of cutting and noticed some dust on the inside of the mask, so I foolishly tried to dust it off with my hand. a huge blunder My vision was clouded by instantaneous scratches, which made it difficult to see straight ahead. I was still able to work with it, but it became increasingly difficult to see what I was doing in low light or low angle light. When using an angle grinder and a thin cut-off wheel, this isn't what you want. off the tracks Scratch resistance, I believe, is on the shield's exterior face. br>br>I've placed an order for replacement shields (which will not be scratch resistant). I decided to see if I could remove the scratches while I waited for them to arrive. I tried a few things, but the best results came from using disk sanding pads with grits of 600, 800, 1500, and 3000, followed by Novus 2 scratch remover and Turtle Wax polishing compound. Because the result is still a little cloudy, I'm going to try buffing compound to see if I can remove it. It took a lot of time and effort, especially since the replacement shield costs $19. I had everything except the buffing compound on hand, and I was interested to see if it would work. However, all of the effort (approximately 2 hours) isn't worth it when the anti-scratch shield is only $19. $7 plus a fog shield 50 for a standard shield,br>br>Probr>It is light weight, and the shield is very clear when not scratched. I forgot the shield was down a couple of times when I went to adjust my glasses. br>br>The impact resistance is excellent. A 1" deep scratch can be found directly between the eyes. I had no idea that something large and sharp could even hit the shield. It's a good thing I wore it. br>br>Easy to tighten, even with a welder's cap to protect my hair from flying sparks and a respirator with P100 filters (ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration). To keep from inhaling fumes and metal dust, I wore a killl (which I already had) but it didn't feel like my head was in a vice and it didn't move around. br>br>So-and-so-and-so-and-so-and-so- So'sbr>br>It took me a while to figure out how to attach the shield to the head piece, but once I did, it was simple. br>br>Consbr>br>On the inside, the scratch resistant shield isn't scratch resistant; I recommend rinsing the inside and outside with water to remove any dust, and then drying it with a microfiber cloth. Using a fiber cloth or allowing it to dry naturally are both options. br>br>Overall, I like the shield; however, because of the scratch resistance issue, I gave it four stars.

Is it scratch-proof? , mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm This shield was worn for a day, which is apparently long enough for me to say that the scratch resistant coating on it does a fair to poor job of preventing scratches
3/5

Furthermore, there is the anti- The inside of the shield's fog layer has several pock marks/craters, which could be caused by migrating hot debris from grinding/welding. I suppose it's better on the plastic than on my face. br>br>The face shield is very comfortable to wear and has a solid feel to it when in use. After a day's work, it leaves no pressure points on the wearer's head. For being reasonably well-made and comfortable, it receives high marks. Scratch resistance is given a low rating because it isn't very effective.
