You are supposed to wear it directly on your head. If you need that, I would recommend using the hard hat attachment. There is another model that is integrated into the hard hat.

Buying this replacement shield was necessary because when I ordered my face shield, the only Omnishield I could order was the UV Shield. This clear shield is necessary for my job as a nurse who uses this with patients suffering from CoVid, so the UV face shield is no longer needed. Despite the fact that this face shield is easily scratched, I find it to be It's a good thing the few scratches on mine don't obstruct my vision. To prevent my view from becoming obstructed when it does happen I bought an anti-glare lens There is foggy weather and anti-fog Protect your face with this scratch-resistant However, this is far superior in quality to any face shield issued by a hospital. This was a purchase I did not regret.
An earlier review of the OmniShield face shield can be found here. The lens was damaged and this is the replacement Getting rid of the old one and installing this one didn't take long. As the lens was only a replacement, this has more to do with the seller than with the lens itself. I ordered two lenses (I had to have a spare) and they arrived on time. I got a package that looked like it was smashed with a 100 lb weight when it came in a box large enough to keep them safe (these days I receive packages that are packaged in boxes that "look" like they were smashed). It was a pleasant experience working with the sellers and the lenses.
When shields came with plastic wrap, I thought that was great, however it was pressed against the shield and when you removed the plastic wrap, it left a smudge mark that could not be removed, so it looked as if it was.
My satisfaction was not great since it is supposed to be scratch resistant. Even though I wear it in a place where flying debris and even dust dust particles are present, I have a scratch on one side after wearing the jacket for four days. Even though I am aware that it will not stop all scratches, I still believe that it is not any better than not having scratch resistance.
As an added protection against Covid, I used to attach my hat to it. I am able to see it clearly.
Clearer than any other shield, this one has exceptional optical properties. The glasses have served me well for all kinds of work, including grinding and drilling concrete. The number 19 has not been reached yet, but I do not see any reason to delay. It would appear to be an adequate protection if combined with an N95.
Shield replacement that is of very high quality. When I cleaned it with a paper towel, the original fogged and scratched easily. As a precaution, I don't do that at this time.
It will be used in my wood shop for safety. It is also available and easy to use.
