Insofar as you use the rubber plug attached to the charging hole, you should be able to use it watertight. It would be fine if only shallow immersion was used, but it is not designed to withstand the pressure of any The plug actually has to be removed for the lantern to collapse, which makes it pretty airtight.
have not tried to charge an iPhone, but I recently tried to charge my Samsung Galaxy S9 using this hand crank, and I confirm it DOES work. Quite a bit, actually. After connecting the two devices, I made sure the phone's screen was turned off, and then I turned the screamer for a minute at what I would consider moderate volume A fast speed and a charge increase of 22% to 24% before and after cranking. My fitness levels aren't great, so I was pretty tired. I don't know how long I could have kept up this effort, but it was nice to know that in an EMERGENCY, I could use it to charge my phone (though it was difficult). Turning the crank backwards - I have been going back and forth with my friends/family to make sure I have enough power.
The battery is really good at 300mAh/3V. The lithium battery has a voltage of 7 volts. I love this little lamp it is so bright, you've got to see my full video to believe it. Please accept this as a helpful reply. I am Cazi

Lighting at low levels for 5 hours with lighting at high levels for 40 minutes.
It works well as it's been modified to install a 940nm led inside. Took it apart to see what it's made of and it's a decent piece. There is a hybrid lithium capacitor in this battery that delivers 300ma of power. My led is wired into the voltage meter, and I measured its voltage. As low as possible When set to high, the voltage is 78 volts It appears to be mounted on a star board with a generic chip. It is probably capable of more power and is underdriven. As I was expecting it to have a low and a high setting, I was surprised to find it has both. While the USB charging is a nice feature, even 30 seconds of cranking it will give you a decent run time. It lasted over five minutes on low but I didn't measure it. There are 3 tiny screws (from the inside) that secure the top of the lantern to the base. I just don't like the way they are mounted. Due to the lantern's expansion and contraction over time, it's possible that it will come off in the future. Although it's not cheap, it's well constructed and the price isn't too outrageous.
Batteries that can be recharged. It's a great light when working in the attic changing splitters on my cable. I bought it as an emergency light, but I also discovered it's handy for cleaning the attic. Whenever you need to use a flashlight for another purpose than what is normally required, this tool is perfect. Then I put it in a clear plastic bag and hang it on a command hook on the back of the bathroom doors, so I always know where it is in the event of a power outage. I will put one in the glove box of each of my vehicles since they are small and handy. *BUT*BR* - NOTICE In more than one way, I have not been compensated or given this product for free or at a reduced price for making Paying for it myself was no problem. It is my opinion and has not been influenced by any form of compensation. I have purchased and/or used the product, so the above review is my opinion.
My review will be updated after I have gone camping for the summer. 1 - was approximately 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 5 1/4 inches tall, which was a little smaller than I expected. 1 - Weighing approximately 5oz, or 168g, it has a diameter of 5mm. The equivalent of 95oz, or 0 grams. This means he weighs 370 pounds. The 3rd element. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was much brighter than I expected it to be after just a few minutes' winding. In the next section, you'll learn about the things I did not like. In addition to being lightweight and good at diffusing light when the lantern is open, the plastic membrane is thin and VERY easily creased when the lantern's two halves are pulled apart. Eventually, this membrane will be torn or wear a hole in This is true. Finally, I would like to say that. The lantern I bought cost a little more than some others on the market from other sources, but I think it's better made. Whenever the diffuser membrane fails, I am concerned about what will happen to the lantern. If it fails, I might be able to replace it with milk jug plastic, allowing the lantern to remain usable but losing its compactness. Other battery-operated lanterns of similar design that use a spring and a cloth tube already exist, so if the need arises, I may create something similar.
This set of two came just in time for a 2-person game An outage during the winter last year lasted for one day. When I crank these for good lighting, there was also a USB charger I could use, which, in addition to the solar panel I bought, I also hooked up to the solar panel. As I look south I can see a panel As a result of their kitchen window location, they were able to charge and emit great light in both compressed and expanded modes. Further purchases are on the way. There is no reason for any home not to have these in their emergency kit or on hand.
In the event of blackouts or if I am unable to get batteries for my other light units, I intended to use this as a backup light. Trying it out on other USB power stuff, I did little bit of testing and it does seem to work. However, it will take some time for the stuff to fully charge. Please keep in mind that this is a small power charger that has limited output for charging, so you might wonder why it does not charge at a There are few issues I found, one is that you need to change the bulb in case it is damaged and there is the fact that you have to push the button twice to turn off, which wears out the buttons, there are other issues that are not as bad as the two I mentioned. Normally I would have given the product 5 stars, however, I had to deduct 1 star There are a few flaws, so it gets one star.
I ran the light for about 9 ish hours on low setting, and that was while it was fully charged. The only thing that I don't like about it is that there could be a better type of plug for charging a device and charging the light.
Light output - needs to be improved. I had the lantern on low in my 14' x 15' room, and it well lit the room. In a tent, you don't need as much light as that. The bright LED flashlight illuminates the path nicely when collapsed. Although I don't know why, I did a drop test by dropping it out of the window onto my driveway. I have no idea why but I felt like it. Upon impact with the pavement, there are no cracks or scratches. The screen has just a couple of scuffs and it functions perfectly the rest of the case is fine.
