We are meeting every week night at local restaurants with a group of men friends. The COVID19 struck in late November and so we wanted to meet afterward. We did so on my deck in the spring and summer. A summer day. The nights have grown longer now, and we needed a lantern since it gets dark earlier. That lantern is adorable. I bought it a couple of weeks ago. We use setting 3, which was recommended by the men in light of the brightest setting being too bright. As part of an Eneloop AA battery kit I bought a few years ago, I also got adapters for C and D batteries, so I use the AA batteries in three D batteries I have the battery adapters and they work great. It has lasted * 3 hours since I've used the lantern three times not to mention that I haven't had to recharge it I would highly recommend it.

As a barrier island on the East coast of Florida, we are subject to hurricanes and power outages whenever we get a chance. Years ago, we purchased a UST lamp and liked it a lot.
