When the internal batteries were used for the first time, they stopped taking a charge

After finally using the lantern, I discovered that although the batteries had been fully charged before using it, they would no longer recharge after usage (for an hour) due to the internal batteries having been depleted. As soon as I received the product, I noticed they were fully charged. Customer Service took care of the problem quickly. The USB cord for charging the internal battery was not long enough so I had to purchase a longer one. It is far too short to provide one.

I'm not happy with this lamp at all! I sit in the dark following a two-day power outage. The light will only be on for 15 seconds at most. Those other reviews sounded promising, so I was hoping they would be true as well. My recommendation is not to do so. It would be great if they would see my review and offer a refund or send me a new lamp immediately. This is a requirement to submit my review, so I am selecting one star only.
